Shredders: The Rhino has bought a new house. this new house has a SUPER huge Garage with high ceiling. perfect for shredding during bad weather. I have lots of extra room too. So if any of you wanna come to Manistee, Michigan, USA and have a Jam (who knows?) I'd have crashing space and shredding space, no matter what the weather.

BSOS the basics sesh:

 alternating consecutive toe x 100 (trying to make part of my warmup)
 Mirage, legover, illusion and pickup all bsos (YESSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!)

look what happens when you school the basics... muscle memory...

I was going to end my sesh with some new tricks I KNEW for sure I would be able to hit. I was going to do spinning Legover a few times... I busted a spinning set so perfectly, but I forgot what I was doing... I just bailed to pickup and NAILED IT into a string...

 spinning pickup.

look what schooling the basics will do for you. :)

(footed strong open whirl 4 times)

How long've you been playing?

Sounds like you hit spinning pickup way early! I'm jealous.

I STARTED in about 03, BUT, I only ever wanted to hit single tricks at a time. since about 07 I had quit for about four years. I never TRULY learned the basics and strings. So I'm starting OVER.

thanks for stopping by! :)

Literally a dream session:

I met some guys who knew the names of Footbag tricks and were making fun of me because they knew I couldn't bust big. So I asked to see what they could do. And only one guy could almost do toe stall. So I busted symposium illusion and symposium eggbeater and then John Munch from law and order SVU stopped by my house to tell me the road commission is gonna fill in the potholes in my street per his request. Silly dreams. I guess in real life I'll be doing symp illusions one day.

nice bubbas!! I love that trick. I don't quite know what you mean by "near bubba" though. You may be confusing a regular bubba with a pdx illusion and a "near" bubba with a regular bubba? Probably not but I'm just a bit confused..

Also, if you hit spinning near legover it's called merlin (I'm pretty sure, correct me if I'm wrong)

lookin' good, keep it up!!

Thank you, bubba is a new concept for me and Yes, I was confused. I didn't think Illusion could get a Paradox. I didn't know what to call it.... So, Mirage can get a paradox, and so can illusion, because they dex and don't catch the bag with the dexing leg/foot (i'm guessing here) and legover and pickup dex and catch the bag with the same leg/foot. if this is correct -GOT IT! and again, correct ME if I am wrong

(far) illusion is pdx and gets the add for it. as far as the whole "paradox" concept, I 've been consistently been confused by what counts/does not count as being paradox. For example, barfly (clip set>far double down) is not paradox and does not get the add, and I've never known why. my only reasoning is that it would simply be too easy a 5-add that way

also, if you hit spinning legovers/pickups setting, dexing, and catching with the same leg, that's called gyro (and I 'm pretty sure a gyro pickup is called "pandora's box") And if it is- CONGRATS BECAUSE YOU OPENED IT SUCKA!!! :P :P

And gyro legover is called Parallax; Merlin is pretty different -- miraging symposium mirage.

Unlocking the mystery of the Osis:

Set the bag straight up
Cock the ankle like proper whirl form
Aim with your eyes for the Clipper sweet spot
Catch the bag gently like a toe stall cusioning the bag as it comes down.
Pivot toward the opposite Clipper and bend the knee
Cradle the bag in the sweet spot and delay the bag. (It's not a scooping motion)
Now you are in position to do WHATEVER you want from Clipper.

Good run through of osis. I tend to scoop mine too much. Reading that reminds me. Have you read Vasek's Footbag Manual yet? If you haven't I highly recomend picking it up.

I would add:
Set straight up - close to your knee (not too far from the body)
Get the foot in position asap, don't wait too long or it'll be scooped.
Spot the bag coming down before pivoting.
After the pivot, spot the bag again
