Dude, start by 2 tricks.. Link them both sides, 3x on both sides. Then pick like 4 more sets of 2 tricks... 3x on both sides. Keep up with that for a month or so and THAT is how you gain consistency.

I know what you mean though. I always wondered that same thing. How do those guys get so consistent? I can assure you, it's in your head... Don't think you can't get consistent. You can, but it's a mixture of repetition and strategy. Figuring out the set height and keeping that same set height for every attempt.. I promise you, if you try this method of drilling for 2 months with 5 of the same links per month, you'll see a big improvement.

If you don't like that method, try to pick 3 concepts every month and drill those by linking every trick you know in front of it and behind it.. I usually choose 1 uptime component (usually followed by an op Mirage or a ss or op clipper.. Whichever is harder to set clean), 1 downtime component, and mystery component of your choice (I usually choose an unusual surface for this one)...

Also, I can't stress it enough... Get really good at Infinities ASAP! I'd say you need to be able to hit 30 before even playing regular footbag again.

Hope this helps. Your links have been ripping it up lately. Keep drilling and your time will come.

I barely even dare to think about dreaming to be able to do that. The most alternating clippers no plant I've ever been able to do is ten and it is SO HARD! I think it's because of having to move this big body back and forth every second. Too difficult to control. I'm not refusing your advice.

Everything else is attainable. Thank you for the recommendations.

Nick is right. Warm up with Infinities, cool down with Infinities. Once you get too good, do it with worse bags.
Once you can do 30 with a piece of Lego, you won't have to worry about stalling after a trick ever again, so you can focus on dexing.

Video or it didn't happen. Wait, if you have a video of that, I don't want to see that. That would be worse than socks.

Vojta nailed it. That's what I was getting at. Once you can do like 30 to 50 Infinities, you don't have to think about stalling tricks anymore. It just happens.

Diggin' all them links. Do you really struggle with string length, cause your control could fool me. Peeps gave good advice, but if you are struggling with 20 Tiltless, I would suggest that be your focus. It's not too boring, I promise. Try and resist handcatching, that's a tip Skyler (Lon) gave me, and use the excitement to push the string longer and longer. Drops are good for the soul.

Nice dude. Spinning Clipper is looking way tight and easy for you now.

Calling it right now.. The next video you post is Infinity x (at least) 5 ;)

Nice progress!

I challenge you to take that clipper > far legover drill and replace the clipper with an SS butterfly. I think you'll be good at that in no time. I enjoyed your drifter video, gave me some ideas for drills I want to hit. Think you can hit legbeater > drifter bs?

Probably, but it would take me a whole day or so. I'm relatively new at atomic, and it turns out, I virtually have to re learn drifter every sesh.

Sincere update. I actually like playing footbag now that I can control both flip and strong osis. It's like the whole sport changed for me. Not that I didn't like it before, but it was SO FRUSTRATING EVERY SESH. now... Much more enjoyable. Thank you.
