I am having a crazy influx of new bags lately. I found 3 old ones yesterday, got 4 from my dad for my birthday, and im getting another one from Nathan tomorrow.

I had a mini session today but had to end it early because I had sweated too much and overheated.

highlights:
clipper> fs clipper> fs mirage> butterfly>ducking clipper

So I had a request on how to pick up ladies, so here is my tutorial.
1. go to the beach/boardwalk
2. find the most thirsty girl there
3. walk up to her
4. give her some lemonade, that bitch thirsty!

proven to work every time

So I decided to do something on my footblog that I haven't seen anyone else do. Weird things that I do with my footbag is the topic. I will post something weird that I do with my footbags once every few days or so.

My first thing that I do with my footbag is sleep with it. I know that's kinda weird but not over the top. u can hate on me all u want or tell me that you do the same thing. just thought this would be a fun thing to do, hope yall enjoy it

Mush several inside of my cheeks and hop around in public, pretending I'm a chipmunk.

im gonna start out with my weird thing that I do with my footbag. I put it in the freezer or the microwave before each session depending on how I feel.

well I had a pretty bad session yesterday. only one highlight, but you all are gonna hate my highlight.

-hit my first dada curve or whatever its called.(I will never try it again because apparently its a cheap trick because it is more adds than a drifter. at least that's what nick said) I personally enjoy doing it but if its a cheap trick I don't feel like being hated haha.

nick is totally wrong! dada curve is the bomb if you do it right!

good post on picking up chicks. I really have much to learn, i've been offering them arnold palmer INSTEAD of lemonade. killer observation brothah.

I couldn't agree with Kevin more about DaDa! IMHO it's the coolest trick in footbag; one of my all-time favorites. It gets a lot of hate because it's easy to do it lazy and incorrectly, but, when done properly, it's not particularly easy and (in a great example of how ADDs don't really equate to difficulty) it's actually a 5 ADD trick.

DaDa Love!

Learn to do DDC properly and you'll be fine. It has an absolutely awful name but can look cool.

I stopped doing them because I hate the name, I thought saying DDC would save me but people would ask what does it stand for and then I'd have to say it out loud.

Not sure what a clean DDC is, but if you jump really high and plant the bag on your clipper before your support leg reaches the ground (reverse eclipse feel) that should be clean. That's what clean Merlins/Legeaters are in my book anyway.
I hate bad form and I'm a hypocrite.

I have been tirelessly working on 3 concepts for about a week. I have really dug deep and fought through severe soreness and shin pains. The three concepts that I have been working on have been clipper, whirl, and legover/pickup. My flip side clipper is what I have been working on the most. I keep pulling my foot into my body and making the bag hit my side. I am getting so close to hitting whirl. I need some pointers on hitting pickups/legovers because I cant seem to hit them.

the weird thing that I do with my footbag is play basketball with it, but my mouth is the hoop. I only do this when im laying in bed thinking about all of the sick combos that I will never hit.

Hahaha that's amazing.

In my opinion, you should stop trying Whirls for a little while until you can do about 20 clippers on both sides. Severe shin pain shouldn't be happening this early. I feel like when you're trying Whirls so often, you are landing pretty hard, and that is causing the shin pain. Just wait until next session so Nathan and I can teach you how to Whirl properly.

If you play through severe shin pain too much, it can lead to horrible things like stress fractures. It's happened before in footbag. Just make sure you do everything in moderation. (ie. Don't practice a heavy impact trick every day). Sorry to be such a dad on this one, but I don't want you to get injured. I've been injured. It's one of the worst things ever.

See you sometime soon, dude.

Good to hear about the clippers, they are the foundation to success. Unless your name is Derek Littlefield then you will find success in your toes. And shin pain sucks, most of us have been there. I think Mathieu Giard-Montpetit told me this - Don't play through pain, it won't make you any better because your mind is just thinking about the pain and not what you're practicing. I can't wait for our next sesh!
