Well, it seems as though all the hard work I've been putting in with this bike stuff is finally paying off!
I AM A SPONSORED RIDER!!!!
Volume Bikes (a bmx company) has hooked me up with a free frame!!
It's the first commercially available gusseted (reinforced) track frame, AND it's guaranteed for life!!
This is the frame:
http://www.volumebikes.com/frames-cutter.html
This is pretty fucking thrilling for me! I've been busting my ass, destroying my shit and pushing the world scene and now I finally get some recognition for it!
Also, this frame was the frame I wanted more than any other available and now they're sending me one for free!!
Here is the last video I made before I snapped my frame. Oh yeah, haha I forgot to mention, that was the big big reason why i REALLY needed sponsorship. I can't afford to replace the frame I snapped a few days ago, hehe.

I know it's not footbag but I'd love it if you guys cheered me on!

Oh and Jay and I went to visit matt cross in fredonia last weekend and it was great!
people did hack tricks and I shot basketballs, haha.
We went to a party and I played the role of 'abrasive canadian' haha.
Do you guys still like me even though I'm not crazy driven to get good at hack?

haha, wow, i think that must be a first. Did you say "sorry" too many times?mosher wrote:We went to a party and I played the role of 'abrasive canadian' haha.
I still like you tom! but when i think of lists of canadian footbag players i now find my self saying "... oh yeah, and tom. i think? does he still play?" glad to hear you still kick on occasion!
big props on the sponsorship bud!

Big congrats Tom. I knew you were hooked on tracklife by how excited you got when we used to go ride. I could tell it gave you that little extra thing that footbag just wasn't providing anymore. And hey, thats what this life is all about, being happy. It makes me happy that you are happy! The last time we chilled and played footbag I could tell you were searching for something that wasn't footbag. Which, fortunately for me means that you still owe me a REAL footy session. Like one of those olden day biosci sessions when I hit blurriest in my third month.... I just can't believe how fast all of this track stuff came about. It really shows that you are relentless and never stop working hard. I know the sponsorship is an amazing achievement but even without it your still good at everything you do so don't rely on stuff like this to keep your confidence up. I think you were linked together with Felix and Vasek up there somewhereSlowsis wrote:I hate your guts.
Your welcome down to Kingston anytime Tom!
First think about how to practice or don't bother practicing.

Me too sometimes, but mainly cuz Tom is also such an American... Esp since him & Matt are quite the item... which is funny cuz Matt is also Canadian.hacksterbator wrote: ...when i think of lists of canadian footbag players i now find my self saying "... oh yeah, and tom. i think?...

hehe don't forget about me guys!
I still go to events and I still play and half my local friends are footabg people still.
I've just really fallen for this bike stuff, I get really into things!
And really, just because I am not posting 75 posts per day on modified doesn't make me any less of a footbag player. Is Vasek or Peter or anybody that doesn't post a lot here not a player?
I need some new lavers or someting.
Hey, when are those abshire shoes coming out? I hope they don't suck!!
I am really excited for NYJ!!
I will be playing a lot of footbag, I promise!
I think I'll make a footbag video just to prove that I can still shred.
