Thanks so much for taking care of this!

...only remaining issue is players who give no sign of life, I think I stressed people enough globally and individually to have no regrets scratching someone who did not submit a video. That was my main concern since day one and I feel mission accomplished.
I think you can feel ok knowing that the deadlines are clear as day. That being said, I did wonder if some of the Japanese shredders, whose English may not be as good as others, got confused about routines and sick 3 and, instead of uploading to wetransfer, uploaded to Youtube.

I am very happy with this entry considering the pain and energy I had. Shred is meh. But the juggling stuff shows what I have been working on and the new patern I am practicing for: 3 bags juggling!

Nice work! What is your record for three bag? I think mine is 21 catches. I should practice that more. Why do I only bring 2 bags with me to sessions?

First routine practice for finals this morning- 5:30 to 6:30 am

Figuring out how it turned vs music since all was in my head, 95% works fine, rest just fine tuning

Shred wise well no play for over a week, I can feel it but got some 2-3 drop performances on camera, nothing amazing, but I need backups in case injury stops me completely

Will try again tomorrow, going home and resting a bit before work

Also i really need to poop, this happened now when I was doing my best nooooo oohh poop!

That's great! I should try that too.

Hope the cortisone shot helped!

Cortisone helps for the pain, but does not heal the injury so I need to be careful.

This shakes a bit my finals plans, but I am trying to be more technical still, but my song beats are hard to match, i got a good performance today 2 drops but it’s something to start with, we are getting somewhere! Same as yesterday after about an hour heat is too high

Need to wait until tomorrow! For another hour possibly at 5am

Getting more comfortable with this new routine, enjoying it

Routine day three
Woke up 5am had one toast and left off
Took a good 30 minutes to get in the zone shred wise
Got a one drop safety and a solid 2 drop (Both at the end noooooo)
Poop o’clock again after that, back home
It is getting better every day, I made some adjustments late today on the repetitive drops, one of them I realized at the end, so it should help a lot

Dropless tomorrow? Hopefully!

Did it, got a solid dropless entry, filming shred 30 tomorrow, and possibly trying harder routine in the rest of the days if my body lets me,
For shred30 I am aiming small, original plan was in the 240’s but due to injury I just want to break 200, not too hard!

Congrats Mathieu!  That must be such a relief.  I have a very similar plan but am a lot further behind than you.  I'd kill to have a solid dropless routine in the bank already.  Good luck on your Shred30, and good luck in the next week banking even better routines.

Thanks Ken! My time is becoming more limited with vacation actually! We are going camping for 3 days so not much possibilities, possibly 3 sessions until the deadline, one being tomorrow for shred, but I am aiming small so it should be cake. I had a 248 pts planned but I will get hurt for sure trying it so not happening!

Worlds are over for me! well almost!
Today was my shred 30 day, but my shred time was shrinked since wife also had a crossfit class early in the morning
woke up at 4:30AM, little chat with rory before he goes to bed, ! what an opposite!

Went for the shred spot, great temperature, just little mosquitoes annoying me but nothing too harsh

I'm taking it easy, experimenting different combos I had planned, had a couple of 28-29 contacts to a drop (NOOO!)

Look at the time, OMG I need to go or wife misses class!

Did one last attempt, got 30 contacts sealed to hand catch, with one repeat so still good. Got home to realise I had time for an extra 1 or 2 tricks haha

Score of 210,433 to my calculation, pretty respectable for an old injured man

Today is aqua park with wife and NO KIDS! this will be so much fun
camping for the following 3 days
leaving saturday sunday monday for a possible session to improve routine, I don't know about this, I would like to but also I feel accomplished with what I was aiming
top goal was: make routine finals: Check
then in order
1- compete smartly through injury: Check
2- Submit interesting shred off despite injury, I think we can say check
3 - Make a new routine for finals: Check
4 - Score 200+ in shred 30 : Check
5 rank top 25 in sick 3 : Check (Acually I think I ended 24 or 25 with the kemmer bump) but this was due to a judge fuckup, all but me in 30's but the one I bribed put me 13 lawl, just kidding no bribe but I was quite surprised since my combo was very easy

so the plan is to rest for the next days, relax, enjoy vacation, and the weekend will say if there is more footbag left in me for this worlds

I think the online format is very interesting, maybe it should stay as well ? One real worlds in summer, one online in winter? Why not? I must say it is a lot of organisation, speaking of, I need to get some of that done for routine finals! I am pretty well advanced, just need to prepare judging sheets and excel file for compilation of results, not too much work!

I think there's a lot of potential (particularly this year and probably into next), for online tournaments of regional areas. So it might be like an Asian Championships - there's a bunch of new players in Japan and China that have come into it this year. I think that would be cool - even for something like Canada or a US championship - the reality is you can't have all the best players there at the best of times, so online format can work quite well.

I also think a lot of the major effort work has been done now, to do it again I think everyone can work through what has been done this time.

Ersonal note, taking 3 days off footbag before evLuating if I go harder on routine and leave my ankle heal

Online tournament, it is a lot of work , especially with a live show!

Even the online routine contest is so many hours! For worlds getting all the videos, preparing seeding, gathering judges, all this as to be done every time, lots of time required every time

I think a one round event can work but would be more easy to judge with more difficulty tiers for judges

I give up sadly
Ankle pain
Sore throat (please not covid)

Played at 5am still, got a crazy first minute, but then breath was gone since it’s too hard with my throat problem that started this morning! Meh

Stepping ducking, scorpions tail, and much more it was epic! Oh well haha
Time to rest and submit my safety because my body is telling me in every possible way to stop
