Even though it's been played way too much everywhere, Hello by The Cat Empire still makes me smile.

Also I played touch football with one of the band members (Ollie) but he left the team when they became too famous.

The Bedroom Philosopher - "I'm So Postmodern" and "The Heart Song"
http://www.myspace.com/thebedroomphilosopher

I agree that ""In Bed With My Doona" is the Sgt Peppers of Alternative Folk Comedy" and I would go furhter to suggest that calling things "The Sgt Peppers of something" is the Sgt Peppers of compliments.

Your really living up to your name..

I really like "Down with the sickness" but I don't think it's supposed to make you smile.

I heavely agree with Jeremy about "Hello" that song is sooo happy!

"I'm so postmodern all my clothes are made of sleeping bags
I don't need pockets, I'm a pocket myself!"

I came close to dying. That was a pretty funny song.

Agree 100%

If you're looking for a good song to wake up and torch a spliff to before a long day, "SpottieOttieDopalicious" from Outkaust Aquemini is a song that will automaticaly mellow you out while pumping you up while fixing your brain waves entirely. One of the hip hop's most effectively sampled horn lines over Andre being Andre. Definitely worth a listen.

lol... well my name does come from the band Disturbed lol... not sure if you caught on to that or not... but the sickness is one of the songs that got me into the music i like now so it makes me think back to the point in my life i was at when the song came out, and where i am now, it makes me smile to think of how far i've come in my life since that time.

I think of Starcraft when I listen to Disturbed. It's really weird.

I love it. The most violent hook in recent song,
sung in an innocent child like female voice. . . just perfect.
An insightful song on the American culture. All we want to do is play
with our guns, close the transactions and rake in money.

This hook is so catchy, i can't stop singing it . . .

I think of D2 when I listen to certain songs, because I had a specific playlist I'd listen to while playing that a few years ago. =)

The Garden State soundtrack. Mostly these two:
-"Don't Panic", by Coldplay
-"New Slang", by The Shins

And that song, "Hey There Delilah", by Plain White Ts
