I can't believe that in four pages no one has mentioned Tim Minchin, (who I think is ahead of Stephen Lynch by far):

Although some of his humor is a tad intellectual.

It's been two years since I lasted came to this website. Right now I'm listening to Bill Burr to pass time at AT in Ft Hunter-Liggett. He's hysterical.

I've really been enjoying David Cross. Great stand-up. Political, intelligent, and not afraid to voice an untraditional or unpopular idea. Also liked him in Year One w Jack Black.

Jim Carrey does/did stand up? I can't imagine him being very good, but I will have to check it out when I get home.

You should find DVDs of his HBO show, "Mister Show." It's him and Bob Odenkirk, and it's amazing. Here's an example.

David Cross is my favorite comedian. His standup performance Bigger and Blackerer was very funny. I think it's on Netflix instant.

Kevin Hart is amazing
Also Mitch Hedberg
I also very much enjoy Daniel Tosh

I used to watch a lot more stand-up than I do now and a lot of what has been mentioned I'd agree is very good

I do NOT feel that: Dane Cook, Jim Gaffigan, Gabriel Iglesias, and (especially) Jeff Dunham ( HATE him) are funny after the first time watching them. I find their styles very annoying a repetitive, but that's my opinion.

Steve Zimmerman. Most haven't heard of him. I saw him on a cruise ship and loved him. He got me up on stage with him, and one girl was with literally fell out of her chair laughing. Good times.

The first stand-up comedian to tell footbag jokes to a non-footbag audience (excluding Nathan P, Ryan Morris, and myself <--The only people laughing)
