Does no shave mean no beard-trimming either? Or can you trim your beard as long as you don't shave?

I didn't shave during the week of Worlds... it was like a playoff beard in the NHL.

if there is some sort of incentive, ill be in.

lets make it worth something.

longest scruff wins.

ill put up a brinard 4panel going whomever's is the manliest.

pics must be included to be entered. no early starts (like having a raging beard already). just a stache wont cut it. you need a beard too.

no trimming, shaving, or anything. thats instant DQ.

my vote is the only vote that will get you my prize bag.

now, are you in or out?

In Australia November is traditionally Movember and people (usually males) are expected to grow a moustache and get sponsorship or donate money to prostate cancer research. Usually you are supposed to shave on the November the first, and then there is a big party on November 30th (or the closest weekend). I participated last year, and I think Ian P did as well. My effort was pretty terrible so I will not post up the pictures (but there is one in my facebook photos if you are a friend).

Some people, especially girls, draw on moustaches for the party. Unless they are girls, this is considered pretty soft, and these people are shunned.

I am not sure if I will participate this year or not, but I probably will.

Ugh, ick. I can't stand not shaving. I think facial hair is very annoying. Running out of shaving cream/blades is a crisis for me. Maybe this is just a weird personal preference for me. Ha ha.

And thank you Holly, for inducing visions of unspeakable terror in my mind... All nat-ur-ral. *Shudders*

lol.

It's all about being disgusting Fred. Come on, just do it.

Go Danny!!

Brian, there's no incentive, but if you really wanna put up a prize bag or something, that's cool.

It's more about seeing who can get the nastiest, imo. The cancer research thing Jeremy is talking about is great, though.

Ken: There's no rules man. Who gives a shit if you trim it, just don't tell anyone. lol.

Yeah dude, I can't really grow any facial hair (real facial hair I mean) but who cares. Just do it? Is that a confirmed from you, Mr. CautionFragile?!

I stole Holly's picture and put it on the first post.

I've actually never gone more than a few days without shaving (since I needed to shave, obviously), I'm in. I move that a shaving take place October 31.

It's not digusting... it's a comfort thing (so distracting, and irritating). I would if there was some benefit (charity or personal), but oh well. Hope you all have fun with it.

I'll take the short times of cold air on my face over the irritable itchiness. Assuming you're speaking of the coldness between the door of my house to my car...
