What makes Alcantara special ? I've never heard of it.
I might be interested in ordering an Alfbag Grande in the near future.

The thickness of Alcantara is between thick amaretta colours and thin facile colours!

it's a little bit stiffer, but breaks in quit nice AND, from what I saw, dirt will not stick so much to this fabric than it does to facile!
the bag will look nearly new for a little bit longer!

Alf, can you take a picture of the alcantara with the edges & corners exposed? Like with your amaretta display on the first post? You can PM me the picture, or post it up in this topic if it helps for reference and such.

hey guys,

maybe some of you noticed (if not, who cares, skip the first paragraph :D ), that I've been away from stitching for some month now.
I had kind of a crisis, cause I lost all my motivation to stitch bags!
the problem is, that crisis came at a time, when quit a bunch of you people ordered bags from me.
I'm really sorry about the long time you had to wait, but the bigger problem is, that I lost some of your orders in the mess on my desk.
I know stuff like that shouldn't happen, and I'm really, really sorry for that!

So if any one who already ordered a bag from me, still wants it, just send me a new pm with the specs the bag should have!
for all the others, alfbags will not be sold as custom orders anymore (for the moment)!!
But I will open a new for-sale page, were you can find and buy bags made as I like to make them, after I made them!

I'm sorry for all the trouble and all the people I let down!!!

greetz,

alf

first bag in along time:

[img][/img]

experimental alfbag mini (58gr)
amaretta hexes/ultra suede soft pents!!!!

it looks a little bit rough, because the uss makes the amaretta his bitch! this kind of bags will never look as smooth as a facile or amaretta bag, but the feeling is really nice. it's way softer than I thought a bag with uss could be!!!
(might be for sale later)
