I^2 Footbags - 14s, 32s and 92s

When you live in the same apartment as Nick Polini and Nathan Pipenberg, you stitch footbags.
when you stitch footbags, you get better and decide to sell them.

After a lot of positive comments about my bags this past weekend at ECFC from stitchers like Hania, Matt Cross and Whelan, and a few bag reviews from Bear and D. I have decided to start selling my footbags. All of my bags at this point are USL, but I will be introducing cool microsuede and microfiber to add some variety. All of the bags I have right now use lead shot and glass beads for fill, but I will be transferring to SS in the near future once I get my shipment of SS pellets. Hey!

Got your bag in the mail today and it is pretty darn nice
I prefer my shred bags a bit bigger, but most freestylers love this size.
its weight and filler precentage is spot on, and the stitching is very nice and even.
the pattern is really sick as well, I haven't done a cool pattern in a WHILE.

The main thing i would suggest is making your templates slightly bigger, but have the finished product be the same size (the gather will be slightly greater than it is now)
If you gathered more without making the templates bigger it would just be a smaller, rounder bag.

I also think your bags could benefit from making the short side of the hexes slightly longer,
but not with this metal sand filler you have (too much risk of leaking)
if you hit up brad benson here on modified he sells some great stainless steel disc not very prone to leaking.

As per his suggestions, I have changed my filler to Brad Benson's SS fill and have increased the panel size and gather, making my bags slightly larger - and indeed, these changes really make for a very playable bag with a nice short break in period.

The bag I bought off of Ivan is for sure my favorite. Design and color scheme were done spot on(Spiral type pattern/ Red and Yellow). From the get-go it didn't seem to need much breakin' in, played quite amazingly the first sesh, and after the second one, the bag seems good to go. All the stitching looks SUPER even, as does the gather, and it retains it's shape very well. I would highly recommend purchasing one for yourself, or you'll be missin' out!

Hey footbaggers, I'd just real quick like to declare that Ivan is the best footbag stitcher on the East Coast and his bags are definitely the best East Coast bags I have kicked with.You should definitely think about buying a bag or 2 from him. That is all.

Just added 14s to the mix! sold a few this weekend at the PSU Jam and got some nice reviews so figured I would share the love. $15 shipped for the 14 panel bags.

Also need to sell these two 32s: any takers for $25?

The bag on the right has highlighter and purple colored fabric which is thicker, giving it a rounder shape and slightly longer break in, while the bag on the left is an amareta-facile hybrid and is probably the softest bag I have ever made.

amaretta is juicin'. i have been making pure amaretta bags lately, a little tighter stitching is needed but they are miraculous.

mark, you mean 25, right? or do you have secret vision for the newest invisible model 14 panel?

i got most of mine from Dave Clavens, Emily/Fletcher, and random pieces from other stitchers fro fabric trades.
the only one i would know to contact now is waylon, he bought me some in NY a couple years ago for a small shopping/shipping fee

Geez, I suppose I should update this thing... I am still stitching, and have been making a lot of bags recently. Prices are still the same, quality has probably improved a bit overall. If you are wondering if my bags will suit you, just ask around - most of the players on the east coast have at least one.

I have one of Ivan's 32s I got in a trade a while ago and have to say it's a really beautifully made bag.
It's a mix of facile, some dope golden microsuede and ?amaretta? and is extremely soft right out of the envelope.
The stitching is very even and combined with the gather makes for a very good looking bag.
It's just a bit big for my taste (sry Ivan and Brian I just had to say it ), but I'm using mostly Minis, so who am I to judge! I think the bag size is what most freestylers out there prefer.

Just get one and try it. You will not be dissapointed!

Everyone has their size preferences - that's why there there are plenty of stitchers with different styles.

I must admit, I thought the fill in your bag was a bit weird at first, but after a few sessions I got used to it. Now (well, before I got injured) I carried around two bags - A 14 made by Nathan Pipenburg for shred and your show bag. People walking by react a lot better to your bag. Is there any chance you could PM me the size of the template you used for the show bag?
