Jeremy wrote:void and lotus are the same move. I don't know which is correct but I like lotus more
i think void is more appropriate. gyro drifter is vortex, spinning drifter is void. it's cool because the moves are similar just slightly different, and the names have similar meanings.

reni is a swiss dewd. and yes he has hit it.

Juan explained this is why he prefers lotus: someone explained to him that when you're about to start the drifter, your leg is opening up like a flower. ;-]

lol. Actually you've all been photographed making love to a car. Personally I'm not really a car person but one day soon :D

I personally actually think vortex is one of the worst named moves out there. The word vortex is definitly a cool word, but if you look it up in a dictionary it will be definied along these lines.

(this is a direct quote from the Shorter Oxford English Dictionary Fifth Edition (volume 2)
"A rapid motion of particles around an axis - a whirl of atoms, fluid or vapour"
Basically every definition of the word I have come across is involves whirling and spinning. A concise definition of "Vortex" would be a whirling spinning motion. So the obvious move that this corelates to is spinning whirl. In my opinion this would make much more sense than spinning or gyro drifter. I think too many moves are named because it is a cool name and a cool move - but there is no real connection between the name and the move. Move names that have a connection are so much cooler in my opinion.
