Ducking inspinning (pdx?) blender question.

Post by Sergey » 11 Aug 2005 09:26

At worlds I hit gangsta party a few times again and got inspired to invent a new trick which I’m planning to call Russian party(if it hasn’t been hit), maybe cuz we just had way too many Russian-style parties at worlds.

So that’s how it goes: set from the right sided clipper, duck, inspinning and then blender with my right foot.

The thing I’m not sure about is if it’s fine to inspin after duck? I haven’t seen anyone doing that, so I’m kinda confused.

I haven’t hit the trick yet, but I was close on both sides a few times.

Any comments, suggestion would be very appreciated! :D

Sergey.

So you set from left foot clipper? > spin clockwise? > do Blender with your right foot?

I suppose you would be pissed if I'd hit it before you and called it Finnish Party, wouldn't you?

Nah, I wouldn't be pissed, go for it! :D

I've been thinking that 2x spinning blender was supposed to be called Finnish party, but whatever.

dude I think something is wrong with your description!!!

ducking inspinning pdx blender would start and end on the same clipper just like an inspinning blender!

do you mean start on left FOOT clipper, duck, spin counterclockwise, than pdx blender with the right FOOT?? that would be weaving spinning pdx blender

or do you mean start on the left FOOT clipper, duck , spin clockwise(inspin), than do a right FOOT blender??? that would be ducking insping ss (gyro) blender

or do you mean start on the left FOOT clipper, duck, spin clockwise, than do a LEFT FOOT blender??? that would be ducking insping pdx blender

ducking than spinning is perfectly cool and several people are all over it...moran, irish, smith...

Nah sorry Sergey, that's just plain not allowed.
You'll have to stick with the regular footbag moves.

Just kidding, I doubt I could hit it.

Double Spinning Blender has no name as far as I know. And I'm pretty sure about it. Finnish Party would be pretty cool for it anyway.

I mean ducking inspinning gyro blender which is not to bad, but I guess ducking inspinning pdx blender should be wicked hard! 8O

Thanks for the clear explanations Nate!

So... Inspinning Gyro or Ingyro?

Agh.. I'm still a bit confused with this? Where do you spin after the duck?

Yeah I get what he is saying, I have attempted this with a torque.
Right side clipper (LEFT FOOT) > Duck > Inspin (Clockwise)> then with the right leg do a blender.
Because that wouldn't get a paradox add I would think. I did this with a torque, but I back spun, then ducked, then did the inspin, it is similar but ending in a torque. I am not much of a blender person, but I could give it a go with the paradox point

So this sounds like Ducking Gyro Blender. After the duck it's not inspin, right? But Without the duck it would be Ingyro Blender?

ducks don't change the descriptor, like a spin does.

ducking pdx
ducking inspin
spanish fly is ducking barfly, not ducking ddd
ect..

ducking backspining is weaving spinning

That doesn't make sense, but OK.

Sergey, have you hit Ingyro Blender? IMO that would be cooler. Diving Insgyro Blender would also be cool.

[EDIT:] allright I got it now.

I edited my last post so maybe it makes more sense...maybe not.. I think we're missing something in our comunication.

diving inspinning (or ingyro) would be zulu inspinning
just like you can't do a diving pdx whirl, its zulu pdx whirl.

comfusing, yes... just name the move without the duck then add the duck.

Ducking inspinning doesn't look very clean, That's why people don't do it very often. I find Diving Inspinning to look clean but is much harder. I've never tried blender out of it, just the easy stuff.

I've been doing a lot of alpine spinning myself recently and it's getting really fun. I hit alpine mobius at the last event I went to in Vancouver Washington I call it....________ I forget if I named it or not.
