5 fearless toe2toe tricks are sick! Props Cod!
It's so strange, why lots of people did 10 (generally) clip2clip fearless , and only one 5 toe2toe (which is addly world record!). Wake up dudes and start to training your toes!

Vasek hits something like 20 unique at the end of this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SJ8PmRnobmQ
I think my favorite fearless combo I've hit so far was pixie symp egg > pixie ss symp egg > rpt...but that doesn't break Cod's record unfortunately.
Someone at Worlds asked me about my toe fearless record, referring about this thread....I was thinking about it and I'm sure I've hit at least 5, if not even 6. Something like...
- alpha atom > alpha atom > sailing mirage > atomic dlo > pandemonium...? I think I could throw something like double symp tap at the beginning, or massacre b2b at the end, maybe even pixie ducking flail somewhere? I don't know, I'd have to think about all my more consistent fives.
When I'm back to full health, I'll try to get at least 5 on video.

Lon Smith hit a new record for himself at worlds of 18 unique fearless. His record was 16 prior to that.
Will Digges told me he has hit 16, not 15 unique fearless.
Other hopefuls (10+) would include Justin Dale and Dylan Fry and perhaps if Tina has hit 10 Fearless....

First off I think x-dex fearless is stupid. So is pdx. fearless. You are adding xdex and paradox to a component system and then saying it represents difficulty. Merlin is a 4 component trick. That has no effect on its difficulty.
On the basis of that I think fearless in general is stupid because rev swirling toe (a 2) is harder than blurry whirl. There are countless examples of this. The add system is for components of tricks, those components vary in difficulty.
I agree that fearless is a good measure of skill but I don't think it's a good thing to strive for. It makes us into an army of ps whirl>spin whirl players.
Just a thought. I still will school fearless when I play again (soon), but I don't think it will be my life like it used to be.

i love you Dave but you really cant say that.
someone who doesnt know how to do either moves spent a month drilling rev swirling toe every day and never drilling blurry whirl would be able to to it easier. considering they didnt know how to do swirls, stepping, or whirls. do you get it? it just depends on how often you drill things. and also if your muscles naturally know how to do swirls to a certain point but your muscles are very bad at knowing how to do whirls then you would be able to to rev swirling toe easier. it depends on who the person is, what they work on during their sessions, and how their personal muscles memory functions.
p.s.- im not trying to start a war, im just making a counter argument.
Ben Rea
rev swirling same toe is harder than blurry whirl.
what you choose to drill doesn't make something easier or harder.
If you spend the same amount of time drilling both moves, you will get blurry whirl 100 times faster than rev swirling toe.

rev swirling opposite toe? or rev swirling same toe?
but why am i arguing? Ben Rea is the most experienced shredder on the forums!
alright, on a more serious note. Not to pick on asmus, but he recently hit
If you put the EXACT SAME AMOUNT OF TIME into drilling blurry whirl (and its components, obviously) as you do rev swirling same toe (rev swirl, and toe stall with the same foot), blurry whirl will come easier

if he can hit rev swirling toe, motion, and DOD swirl, and not pdx whirl, maybe he just doesn't school whirl as much as he needs to. maybe he puts MORE TIME into certain concepts.Asmus wrote:- Motion
