clip set far symp swirling osis - pdx?

Post by mc » 19 Nov 2009 09:52

does this move warrant acknowledgment by a paradox add?

it requires hip twisting, the dex starts and ends in the same place and the other foot catches. I think there's just as much dex there as paradox illusion and paradox whirl, but I know I've been a little unsure of what is acknowledged by paradox and what isn't.

Thanks!

I've usually been in favor of giving far twirl a paradox add, to try and account for the extra movement associated with it being on the other side of your body, not just doing it same side.

I agree that it should deserve the pdx add, because of the extra movement needed for both far/pdx twirl and far/pdx rev twirl.

well I think normal far symple swirl (+ variations) does not have a hip pivot as described in what pdx is.

I'd agree that far symple reverse swirl does though.

I agree with paradox. it's kind of like an awkward pdx blender

I don't think regular swirl should get it, but reverse should, and I'm pretty sure it already does (eg: Green Eggs and Ham).

I think any trick that is set>far full dex gets a paradox add, perhaps with the exception of nuclear same side stuff, which aren't always full, but probably should get a paradox too.

So far swirl/far reverse swirl wouldn't get paradox, but far swirling/reverse swirling osis would. I don't think there is any good reason to give reverse swirling tricks paradox but not the same trick but swirling.
