Revstein Headcount

Post by F[uns]tylin' Eclectic » 19 Jul 2011 04:48

I really enjoy these trick headcount threads, so I figured I'd make one...

I know this is a pretty uncommon trick to be hitting, and I was curious how many people have hit it?

 Matt Cross
 Evan Gatesman
 Nick Polini
 Peter Brocka Both sides in this video

 Byrin Wylie At the 6:57 mark in this video
 Frank Remy

Anyone else hit this one? Provide video if possible.

Peter Brocka was the first guy I remember seeing with this consistent.

Ianek hit it out of blurry whirl in this video at 2:20:

I think I remember seeing Frank and Serge from France hit this. Maybe. I'm getting old and my memory is not what it used to be :)

I've beesauced it and I know at least three other players in Finland who have hit it.
In the end a bunch of people have hit this trick, just like Flurricane. Neither of these tricks are hard to just hit once for someone who's been into freestyle for a few years.

Thanks for contributing, guys.

@Anz: I realize this isn't one of the hardest tricks in footbag, but it is definitely difficult and I know that the number of people that hit Revstein is much smaller than the number of people that have hit Ripstein. Plus, I just thought it would be fun to get an organized list together with some footage of people hitting it, since it is such a great trick and sort of uncommon.

Guido Tapia on the 22nd of March, 2008;

I wonder if Lynton Stephens ever hit it? Not that I recall, but he was into a lot of swirling and reverse swirling stuff. Felix Zenger and Vasek and Ales all did interesting reverse swirling moves for a while, although again I don't know about this specific move.

I have only hit it out of dragon. The set is easier that way.

Thanks for the new additions guys.

Revstein x2 8O Damn.

Chris, I never thought about trying that, I'll give it a try soon. Thanks for the idea. It makes a lot of sense since Reverse Swirls are easy from dragons. Just never thought about doing it twice :P
