Newbie from Florida

Post by Taskmaster99 » 25 Jan 2013 13:28

Hello Everyone,

Ive dabbled in footbag before but am now just starting to get into it seriously. Switching between a Mr. Sandbag and Bomb Footbags Aftershock. No lavers yet, but next on the list. Looking forward to learning from all the vets in here.

I live in Lutz, Florida which is a stones throw from Tampa. Also an avid gamer and just started practicing Muay Thai. Talk to you all soon. :D

Welcome!

Just want to quickly say that you should get lavers ASAP! They will do more than anything else to improve your game. Check out finishline.com, they often have the best prices.

Welcome to the forums!

I agree with Nathan. Footbag has a nearly vertical learning curve, but Lavers will help ease the slope. If you have the capability to tape your practice sessions and compare your posture to seasoned players this will also prove quite beneficial.

This is really true. Mentally prepare yourself. It's super fun, but don't be discouraged. There's a point where everything gets way easy too, but it's not for a while.
