I'll be arriving with Aidan on Friday at 3 pm. I think we're staying where Pete is staying. Correct me if I'm wrong, Mr. Baker.

Now who would like to pick us up at the airport? Anybody?

Can someone tell me where I can watch a video of the "Circle Contest"? We are debating if we are going to have that be the event in the All 4 Limbs show. I would like to see some sort of video before I decide.

So what do you guys think is better for a show where 1/2 the audience is non-footbaggers? Circle or Rippin Run? Rippin Run seems to go over pretty well because the audience seems to understand the head to head thing. What do you think? Think outside what you think is the coolest and think from the perspective of a non-footbagger!

Circle contest! It was so awesome.. I think spectators would definitely be more stoked on that.. their feeble minds won't be able to handle all those different footbaggers busting at the same time.

FIRST DIBS :P

Regarding circle vs. rippin:

pro circle: only one shredder at a time, doesn't confuse the audience as much.
con circle: audience won't really understand why the winner won.

pro rippin: very easy to understand who wins, easy to get into.
con rippin: audience won't be able to watch both players as easily...

I'm split down the middle on this one. If I had to choose, I would say circle, just so we can give it a test run and see how it goes over.

Nick/Stefan:

Let me talk to Justin this afternoon and see where we're putting you guys up that night. I may be able to come and grab you guys.

I agree with this, but I think the audience can get behind rippin run easier because it is a head to head competition. It's more suspenseful and exciting for the audience. When the audience doesn't understand what's going on when one person is shredding, then it's really the same as when you have 2 shredding at once. But they do understand what's important to the competition, the person who drops first loses. They understand when to cheer and why, whereas with circle comp, non-footbaggers won't really know why the footbaggers in the audience are cheering for one trick as apposed to another trick.

I really like the circle comp, but I think an audience of non-footbaggers can get behind rippin run easier.

from the point of a non footbagger i think rippin looks better. head to head is really easy to understand. they go longer and easier in rippin and shorter and harder in circle but what non footbagger can tell the difference b etween a 5 and a 3, especially from the audience. in the circle they'll pretty much have to take our word for who won, where as in the rippin run they'll know.

If you don't have my number yet, write it down, memorize it, save it, because if you run into trouble your going to need it.

Here is how pick ups are going to go, call me right when you get into the airport and I'll head out to get you. This will make sure we don't miss incase of late or early flights. It takes about twenty minutes for me to get there and about 10 minutes for you to get your bags. Which means we should be able to meet at the end of the pick up area on time.

Im not sure if im too busy to be excited or to excited to be busy.

see you all soon.

Well, I'm leaving at about 7pm tonight. See everyone there! :D

EDIT:

Ok wtf, I went to buy tickets to the show just now and it said I couldn't buy 2 tickets, so then I went back and tried to buy one and it was going through. But I don't need one, I need two. So I tried again and it said it was sold out!? Almost 100 tickets sold in one day?! Any help?
