Kicked today, was decent. My atws suck now. Ins are a lot easier for me, but they feel less natural, if that makes sense. I can do them well, but it takes more effort. My back didn't nearly hurt.

Ah yeah, I did 7 strongside clippers today, in a row of course.

Logan is good at footbag! He sent me a video of like a 8-9 unique 2 add string. His mirages are wicked good. I wish I could do them.

My shirts are barely selling, oh well. I let wong steal my graphic, lol.

I wrote a letter to footbag.com saying how bad thier site was in a professional manner. At least I voiced my opinion.

Here's the letter I wrote to footbag.com. I found out this girl named Heather runs all these different sites....

Dear Footbag.com,

My name is Ben Adler and I am a relatively new player to the sport of footbag. While visiting your site, footbag.com, I found it quiet embarrassing. Firstly, let me start with your site design. The main page of all your affiliate sites are cluttered with links and items for sale. The sites' graphics are old, unprofessional, and seem childish.

As for the tricks and content, they are barely relevant at most to the sport of footbag. The sites contain tricks submitted by random "players" who in my opinion, mostly have no knowledge of more advanced tricks. Your site also does not reinforce information on the add system, Jobs' Notation or the IFPA.

The items you sell on your site are mostly insufficient for any serious freestyle player. You have few, if any, 32 panel footbags on the site, which is the best number of panels to play with. Although it is great to sell clothing, I find in my opinion that there was not a while lot of though being put into them.

Overall, if you focus your sites' attention to footbag as a sport rather than a simple healthy activity, your site will see a lot more view growth and sales.

Thank you very much,

Ben Adler

And here's the reply I got:

Thanks for your comments....

The returning email was Sandy Smith, maybe that is the webmaster because I sent it both to Heather and the webmaster. I sounded a little harsh, but the sites are really that bad.

Ah yeah, had a shred today, third day in a row. They kept getting better. Back is starting to hurt a lil, I guess I'll play off and on to keep it at the same pain level or something. My form is getting really good. I didn't feel like I was hunching over the bag. My flipside atws are getting there. My mirages are gonna get there. I keep forgeting to school clippers.

Today I hit a 7 unique 2 add run:

-atw bsos
-legover bsos
-pickup bsos
-strongside illusion
and I footed weakside illusion

Does anyone know if in atw and out atw on the same foot are 2 unique moves? I think they should be, its kinda like pickup and legover, or pixie and fairy in my opinion.

Really good session today, little pain. Except after I finsihed, my back started to feel weak. Ah yeah, my knee is getting messed up again. :? All those who have good legs consider yourself lucky 8)

Illusions are fun now. Know what is also fun? Ducking toe! Yeah, thats right, I hit it, almost BS at that. My head kept hitting it. Its one of those tricks that take little effort, although you do have to time it and stuff.

Got some drive by props and...
A high school girl sticking out her pierced tounge...
Some middle school kid looking at me, checking out my skills of course...

Ah yeah, clippers. I tend to neglect drilling them, which I shouldn't. But they are slowly getting better.

For one of my last updates I forgot to say that I hit 7 strongside clippers in a row, a new record for me. Whats that trick thats clipper>op out>op toe? I try that now and then, coming close to getting that. I havn't really been doing far legover for a while, I kinda forgot about them. :?

Decent session this morning (really afternoon though)

Hit:

-ducking toe BS
-pickup> pickup> legover> legover
-legover> legover> pickup> pickup
-7 uniques 2 adds again, one string

YES! Finally, after a few days of practicing I finally hit:

-atw> legover> atw> legover!

Dang, I just had to be in the zone. And I just hit it starting with the other side also, woot!

I'm starting to post strings now and such because I can acuatly do some worth posting. 8)

Holy frick, what a good session! Played twice, one in the afternoon and at night, which was a lil while ago. Gosh, I was hitting atw out> atw in BSOS and atw like 5 times in a row (without pausing this time, lol). My brother challenged me to hit legover> mirage and did after a few minutes. Mirages are tricky for me, but I'm slowly getting them. I'm thinking I might be sore tomorrow. My body was hitting stuff automaticly, as if it was a reflex. I guess that's what it feels like to be good.

Freestyle Reality is gonna rock everyone's socks off. Can't wait. Sam said its gonna be like 90 minutes long. There's tons of fight scenes and of course footbag.

In conclusion:

FOOTBAG IS FUN!!

Man, I am improving lately. Maybe because I've been shredding a lot more. Shredded twice today. Like the same thing yesterday, one shred in the afternoon and one at night, which was a lil while ago.

Here's what I hit:

-Illusion>illusion, almost BS but kinda toe kicked the toe stall
-Illusion>atw
-Infinity, could have had BS, but too lazy
-5 legovers in a row, footed the 6th
-6 atws in a row

Infinity is like a far legover but land on op clipper.

Good session tonight. I'm turning into a machine. Dunno why suddenly. I think its all mindset. My ins, flipside atws, illusions, and clippers are getting better.

Played for like 2 hours and hit:

-Butterfly> ss pickup
-Clipper SS Mirage BS (In enlightenment of Wong, I have realized that I have not hit Bubba, but rather Clipper SS Mirage. Thank you Master Wong)

Here's a video I took before the session:
http://www.freewebs.com/banderscreations/BenFootbag.htm -Infinity

I'm slooowly selling my shirts. I got my first international order for Ontario today, which is pretty cool.

I feel like I'm updating too much, oh well. I'm trying to play everyday and improve everyday.

My friend is getting into footbag! He wants to go tomorrow afternoon and buy a sandmaster and lavers in the mall. It's kinda weird, footbag was kinda "my" thing and now someone else is doing it. I don't know if he will give up on it or not. I hope he improves so we can have some sweet shreds together. It also might be weird teaching him you know?

Anyways, heres my session highlights:

-7 legovers in a row
-legover> pickup> illusion

I was trying to hit legover> atw> legover> pickup> illusion today but no luck.

Short session, but productive.

Hit:
-legover> atw> legover> atw> legover
-4 pickups in a row

Had some other good strings, but I forget them. I don't get how people memorize like 10 strings in a row when they have no forethought for them.

Took me like an hour to get into the zone.

I hit:

- 10 legovers in a row
- legover> atw> legover> pickup> illusion (5 tiltless all unique!!)
- illusion> illusion> illusion

I tried Wong's challenge which was illusion> legover> repeat but got nothing. I'll probably hit it tomorrow. I might be able to enter sick 15, but will take a lot.
