Stone Grey Hexes and Petit Pois Pents. Don't know exact weight, but it's a tiny bit on the heavy side. I think it's about Golf ball size, but i don't have one, so i don't know.

For Cale's birthday. Happy B-day Cale.

Finished today, with a slightly adjusted template that ive stuck with label paper to a soft drink (soda) can to make it more accurate. I like it!

Left: Tri-spiral 32, Baby Cougar combo (White & Brown). "Diamond Dust" lead filler, 50 grams. If anyone has ever owned a Mark Telman 32, you know what the filler is like - this is a variation of it. Pure butterz (instantly shreddable), loves carpet, hates concrete and rough surfaces.

Right: Fearless 55 patterned 32. Colors are Atlantis, Navajo Turquoise, Spanish Gold, Flash Red, Zinnia, Oliver, Stone Grey, Burnt Orange. Steel "whatever" fill, 55.5 grams.

Also pictured are my Quantum02s that I wear for shred.

edit: Stupid comma.

for as little trust as I generally have for animal print, that camo bag looks like something I would make as a personal bag, for me and me alone ;) so sick...

It look like you really tried to get the splotches to span panels!

Props!

Baby Cougar is a very unique facile print, and that's why I like it and used both the brown and white versions for this patterned bag. The splotches will touch no matter what, so the only effort I put in was to make the pattern, not arranging the panels so that the black touch each other. And because of the filler I put in, it's like kicking around a microsuede sandbag.

It literally feels THAT GOOD. But unlike microsuede, it doesn't have the same likeness of durability towards concrete or rough surfaces, since it's still an ultrasuede bag (a weak one at that). I think if you play on a rubber mat, it would still prove to be a good bag I guess. I really made sure about the filler to feel as soft as possible on impact, no matter what the circumstances, and I think at 50 grams I've achieved my results.

I kind of feel like making a large facile sandbag with Baby Cougar, because this facile print really expresses itself well in larger panels - both in terms of pattern and performance.

5 Baby Cougar brown pents, 7 of the white version, Blue Hawaii hexes. Diamond Dust lead filler, 50 grams. This one is a tad bit more full than the previous bag I made with this filler. Hates concrete, etc. etc.

I tried to take a good angle of this bag on my camera, but it came out awkward. Still, the picture shows how juicy the filler is (I just plopped the bag out of my hand - no after-adjustments were done for the pic). :)

That bag you called a Fearless 55, Waylon, you stitched it right? Are you calling your bags Fearless 55's too?

I stitched it, and I'm calling the pattern "Fearless 55" because "radiation gobstopper" sounds truly awful and [Language please - King Monkey] (in the derogatory sense).

I think there needs to be a community effort to name all of the patterns that we make, for better sounding clarity. Maybe I should set up a stitcher's chat?

no discussion needs to be had. find pics of all the styles, name them, and put them all in a JPEG with all the names. Chris Miller got off to a good start on that a few years ago.

Im just wondering if Richie would object to you using the name 'Fearless 55.' Perhaps if its with reference to a pattern its not so bad...
