yes, all hail brian .

please don't start basing any new religion around brian, but i agree ... that is a very nicely stitched 92 ... active green and cinnibar will make those in the know drool, and the addition of the amaretta for the small hexes would make this a nice soft feeling bag i'd assume ... keep it on ice 8).

i really like the microsuede black / usl grey 3-stitch too ... i reckon that would be a supreme playing bag!

This is a Father-Son picture of our stitched footbags. My Dad's 2nd one is on the left on his Lavers, and my 19th is on the right on my Lavers. My Dad's slowly catching footnag fever

Edit: Also, love the new 92, Brian. Looks killer.

Hey Nick, tell your dad to increase his gather a bit and he'll get straighter edges. props on spreading the stitching.

Brad, nice bag. Any tips for other first timers? Did you stitch the little pents separately like brian or did you just go at it all at once?

Thanks! The only thing I would say is to be ready to spend a lot of time and don't rush, thats about it! Well I just went at it although I wish I would've thought to do it Brian's way!

first bags in about 7 weeks, felt rusty

#52 - a pattern I had cut out for a while but never stitched, kinda half-n-half tungsten/steel, seemed to play VERY nice despite what I felt was a good amount of inconsistent sitching
Image

#53 - sort-of-christmas bag, stitched entirely on santa/jesus day - shout out to zach for hooking me up with some sweet new fabrics at NYJ! Hybrid bags are a whole new ball game, looking forward to stitching more.

planning to make a couple to send out soon, although I might get caught up in hybrid experiments :D

I decided to try it as pents first because I thought I remembered playing with a bag I liked at NYJ that had it as the pents, I could be remembering wrong. It plays pretty similarly to the way I remember that bag at NYJ playing, hard to explain the feel, just more smooshy and tends to pancake slightly in the air unlike a comparable USL bag. I think I'll try it out as pents again on my next bag, but with a larger pent template as compared to the template I'll use with the USL hexes.

Bag #14! This is the template I plan on sticking with because it's perfect to hold in the filler, and it's nice and floppy with just finger rolling!

I'm looking to start trading, so if anyone wants to trade bags let me know!

is that cobalt and country cream? i made a bag like that last year and it's been a favorite ever since, it broke in awesome, and the colors look great together.

(ken somolinos loved it too, did his dropless funtastiks routine with it)

nice stuff!

Yeah I'm pretty sure that's what the colors are. I've played a little with it today and it is so nice, and it's floppy! I think this one will be one of my favorites!

Your parents are gonna be pissed that you used the livingroom sofa as fabric :P Nice shot though, looks much better than my first 2 panel.

Thanks lol, Im sure ill get better with time, but still, it wasnt the sofa, it was an old womans glove that I barely got both the panels out of lol. If the glove turns out to be important some how im still going to get the piss taken out of me, but I think im fine lol
