Enjoyed the sideline commentary at the end there! Great links, some very original ones in there.

I have been having a string of luck with playing footbag pretty well and not practicing at all. We out here

New Years Jam was great, but I probably pissed too many people off. I hit diving double over down for the first time. Symposium rev up from far toe was on point as well. Got to play with Pete and Dante in the same circle. Both have such amazing styles.

Johnny Breakdown has been gracious enough to let me have sessions with him at his gym in Brooklyn. Last session I hit four new tricks!

-gyro zulu clipper (pete inspired)
-toe same muted whirling swirl
-reverse swirling symposium whirl
-toe diving double down

Super pumped on the rev swirling symp whirl! I gotta try rev swirling blender now. Especially cuz the only way i can do blender with my left dexing leg is by doing a symposium whirl bail osis. I'm hoping that will translate with reverse swirling symposium whirl bail osis

Will my luck dry out?
probably...

rev swirling symp whirl is a good one, Phil Morrison used to do that really well. I've been trying it a little bit lately actually, haven't come close to it though.

Toe symp revup too - these are hard tricks! Awesome work.

Some high lights from the last 2 seshes with Johnny...

2 Saturdays ago:
-very tight and clean symposium whirling swirl
-toe spin clip > far symple legover > toe spin clip
-toe same muted reverse swirl
-a run starting with barrage > paradon with a mid string toe barrage > paradon (on the flip)
-Brandy practicing net while Johnny and I freestyled.

Last Saturday:
-Gyro symple reverse swirl
-paradox egg
-motion ending on flying osis (Hogan's request)
-zulu dragon fly kick (Hogan's request... He wanted me to hit spinning whirl outa it... yeah right)
-Far x-body rake > toe spinning flying toe > butterfly kick spinning drop (Crowley's request)

Been trying double down swirl and spinning swirl. Getting close to both each session. I've hit double down swirl a handful of times, paradon swirl once, and never spinning swirl.

I'm so grateful to be playing with Johnny at his gym for the winter :D

Indoor spots

Post by C-Fan » 19 Feb 2019 10:22

That's great you guys have an indoor spot for the winter. It's so nice coming into spring without having to knock the rust off.

Can you do gyro reverse swirl non-symple? It needs a tighter and lower set, but looks sick IMO.

Props on all the toe spins too. Those always look awesome.

Had a fun surprise session this weekend with Johnny and Anton! I was planning on not playing cuz they were supposed to go to D.R. Howeves, they did not go, and we all got to get a session in!

Anton was hyping up the circle for sure. He has a lot of enthusiasm for the sport. Also a competitive / push the limits kinda attitude.

Some highlights from all of us were that we all hit 6 add tricks:

Anton- Marius, mullet

Johnny- food processor

Me- pixie symple motion (New Trick! I attempted cuz Anton asked if I could hit something like it)

Other highlights from myself:
- toe symple shattering swirl (Like an uptime midtime symple reverse whirling swirl from opp toe)
- 4 symposium whirling swirls (all followed by a handcatch. Couldn't play out)
- Paradox miraging pickup (New I think!)
- Symposium blink > drifter > ducking paradox illusion
- reverse swirling symposium whirl (2nd time)
- Leggy atomic far clipper > PS wiz
- motion > spanish fly

Not one Dyno was hit the whole session from any of us...

Had another dope session with Johnny this last Saturday. My right thigh is tore up, but it was totally worth it. Legs felt a little heavy during the session, but still had a really fun time!

Session should be called Johnny "Break-Through" Sarah

I inspired Johnny to hit a bunch of new things both sides. including...
-Wax spin
-torque > reverse swirl
-gyro toe
-gyro toe back to back
-symple reverse swirl
Johnny had a sweet link / combo that he was hitting throughout the session. Fairy muted far clipper > reverse swirl

Some of my highlights were...

-torque > reverse swirl (One side)
-motion > paradox illusion > far blender
-Wax spin > diving double down
-flip symple reverse swirl (1st time! I have been good at my strong for 13 years and never hit flip. lol)
-BSOS symple reverse swirl
-What
-Gyro pickuping berger! (First time! Isnpired by Pete of course)
- far X-body rake > far reverse whirling x-body rake > far gyro toe > far wax spin

"What" would be cool with a pickup at the end. Like butterfly symposium rev up

-Gyro pickuping berger!

One of my faves! Reading (or watching) your highlights always make me want to kick.
