Back again. I have been playing more. My knees are horrible! I need to get them strong again. I don't play two days in a row anymore... and my knees still hurt.

I kinda take that back about my peng bag being broken in... its playable, but still a bit rolly. I froze it - twice, it did make it pretty soft. I havn't played with it after though. I talked to peng and she said she is kinda embarrassed about her early bags. Haha, I laughed the first time I saw it frozen. Its soo funny - it was rediculous. It felt like I could eat it. I think I will get a miller bag. They seem good.

My clippers weakened as well. My string lenght is a little bit less, but nothing that I'm not happy about.

Still getting back into it I think. I played last night, went aright. My right leg is always tight for some reason, and it last days after too. I mean I try to be pretty much both sided. I also ordered a miller bag. They seem pretty good, I'm looking forward to it.

And.... DDR! Been playing at my friends house a lot. Its pretty sweet. That is pretty intense. After playing for a while on moderate it really does take indurance. I actuatly suck at moderate, but I survive the songs. My feet have been hurting a lot, and hurt a lot right now from ddr last night and work this morning. And ddr makes me sweat, lol, I couldn't keep my shirt on. Hmmm, I can never keep my shirt on for any physical activity anyways :P haha .

And NJ??? My mom said I could probably go, which was a shock, but I acted like it wasn't. Theres two james, chris's and spike n shred. I will most likely stay only 1 day. I can't shred hardcore for 2 days in a row anyways, knees can't take it. Not sure which one I want to go to. Chris's probably needs more people but spike and shred is probably gonna be wicked sweet.

If you have to pick one, go to Spike n Shred. I'm going to both, but you want your first (I'm assuming) tournament to be a big one.

Hmmm. I decided not to go to prom - if anyone cared, lol. Dosn't seem worth it.

Anywaaays.... I'm having a good session right now. Just came online to check some stuff. I'm hitting like 10 contact tiltless strings all over. Everything is bsos. Illusions are good. Working on getting my clippers back. Hope my miller bag arives tomorrow!

Some lady in the street "You looked pretty funny from way back there!"

I seem to play better outside. Maybe its the "more freedom" experience. Its pretty hot out, not dying hot, but medium hot. I'm drinking lots of water and taking Jorden's advice on the importance of staying hydrated!

It will be sick if I go to NJ. Plus the money I save on prom can go to NJ because prom is june 3rd, so kinda close.

WTF is with my knees? My left knee decided to shatter for no reason. I'm pretty sure it's not from the last time I played because I was feeling pretty good after. Its really hard to walk, was limping all around school today. Its been like this for 3 days about. I really hope it gets welll soon. Maybe I won't go to NJ. Would hate for it to be a waste if I can't play.

SHATTERED?! I hope not. Give yourself some time off. Don't kill yourself for this sport.

Well, not shattered, just messed up :P Yeah, I've been taking it easy, my new miller bag still hasn't made love to my lavers yet.

If I were you, I would drink a lot of milk and eat a lot of bananas and stretch. I think you should do that even if your knee wasnt messed up though...

Good luck :D

So I played today. Still rusty, my best was like a 4 tiltless combo, compared to 10 last month. I'm glad my legs held up fine though.

Sorry man. That's one of the hardest parts of this game in my opinion: when I suck, I don't feel like playing, and then I just get worse. It's a slippery slope.

Keep at it and try to look at the positive. If worse comes to worst, download some good music so at least you can enjoy the music during your recuperation sessions.

Yeah yeah yeah, I know. Havn't done much around here. Heck, dunno why I'm updating. Just to let you know I'm still here I guess. I just read some older entries in Zeke's blog, haha, love it.

So what am I doing? Not much footbag. Havn't played in literally months. I wouldn't say I've given up on it, just, put it on the shelf. I was actually wanting to get into skateboarding, but that's probably not any better on the knees. Does anyone know? I pmed two people about it and havn't gotten any responses back.

Things have been good around here. I need a fricken car, then I can do more stuff I want to do without being limited to the family van and my friend's car. I love BMWs. Never been in one I think, but they are so darn sexy. I was thinking of picking up swimming again. I'm starting to like the water more and more.......when it's not cold.

Planning a road trip with some friends. Gonna hit places in PA, NY, and Canada. Hopefully I will see some shred! Even though I suck at shred now and can barely do strings, I'm bringing my lavers anyways. I kinda don't want to go because I need money and my friends can't plan well. We will need to do some reorganization. Frick, and some friends want to just go to canada for the drinking and showgirls. Screw that.

I was thinking lately that I should try harder to refrain from sexual impurity and the like more. Just not for the obvious reasons, but I'm starting to think that If I better want to find my perfect woman, there must be no thoughts of lust. I need to get my spiritual life back. It's hard for me to keep up with it.

Oh yeah, got a blog now :) http://banderscreations.com

Just wanted to share!

Definitely not better on your knees. One of the reasons I quit. Its actually a lot worse depending on how hard you go at it or what you do. Stairs and drops will screw them up pretty bad, including other stuff like ankles, wrists, hips, and shoulders. But then again so does everything else.

i stopped skating for footbag, cause i wouldnt get hurt so much (definetly not hospitalized!). plus i dont have insurance anymore.

i skated hardcore for like 3 years, getting up to really hard stuff like 7 stair grabs and stuff. i thought i broke my knee 3 dif times. i just tore shit up. tendons and stuff.

if your gonna be serious about it, skating will get you way more hurt.

footbag just messes up your joints, skating will break bones. its inevitable.

(i typed you up a big pm, but i lost it... i guess i hit back or somethign?)

What exactly hurts on your knees? Have you visited a doctor or physical therapist? It sucks to think you might be done for good. :(

Yeah ben's always had bad knees. That's why I really admire you ben for just hangin in there. You seem like a nice kid. If you stopped playin, I'd still wanna talk to ya and just talk bout whatever. Don't think that if you quit footbag you'll lose some of the friends you've made. I know that you'll never throw away your lavers though. You're a footbagger, a great kid, and I'm proud to call ya my bud. you rockxorx benners!

Been swimming at my friends house and playing ultimate. The game rocks. Also been doing pushups every other day, alternating with each between days. I've been eating lots of eggs!

What the frick, I missed all this Worlds stuff. I swear Finland happened a few months ago. Time flew by wicked fast, wasn't expecting 2006 worlds to come so quickly! Props to Jorden!
