Sounds like the concensus is to just leave it alone...

The bag treatment idea was not necessarily for help breaking it in as much as a protectant to help preserve the material from the major beating it takes. You know like suntan lotion for the skin, or leather preserver for leather, or ...

Does anyone use any oils or leather treatments for their bags?

On the flying clipper they recommend Mink Oil ( http://www.flyingclipper.com/home/fly/smartlist_118/tips_and_how-tos.html )

On Kingston Footbag and in Pengs Washing Tuturial they recommend baby oil or fabric softner

YEH! I found the Ministry of Silly Walks in Somerville. A bunch of awesome guys like Jonathan Schneider (the mans got SKILLS!). They are inspiring me and pushing me. You guys are right, finding people of better skill level has really been a critical part of my learning.
