My nephew wants to get into footbag. I told him I'd get him a bag for his birthday. Any suggestions on a solid bag for a beginner? Any reason he shouldn't start with a small metal bag just like the pros?

I'm looking to buy 2 new footbags as gifts to some younger siblings. I would like to spend no more that 15 bucks on each bag. Anyone have a recommendation on where I can get a couple of decent metal bags for 30 bucks? If any stitchers would like to sell me some, my address is doughywilson at gmail.

If anyone ever wants to kick with me, I know of an awesome place to do it. Nice hardwood floors, at least 12 foot ceilings, and a system to play music. It's actually a dance rehearsal place.

Any footbag players from this board live in Salt Lake City? I am dying to kick with someone around here. I live near the University of Utah.

I just finished making my first bag, a 14 panel. Took me 3 tries to get it right, but it still turned out much smaller than expected.

Next I am going to try a 32 panel. What length should I make the edges of the pentagon to end up with a bag approximately the size of a golf ball?
