Re: Can this help reduce cutting time?!

Okay cool, that was the answer I thought I was going to get! I just wanted a few opinions on the matter before I scrapped the idea. Using less layers of fabric with the magnet method should work at least a little better so I guess that's where I'll go from here! Thanks for the response! Yeah laser ...

Re: Can this help reduce cutting time?!

Well from what I have tried with that technique, each pentagon progressively gets smaller in the stack in between the magnets! I don't know how to correct this so that's the reason for this post asking if those would help!

Can this help reduce cutting time?!

I haven't been on here for a while and frankly I haven't stitched any bags for about 4 months (so sad!) because of getting bored with cutting out panels! I was wondering if anyone has ever tried to use one of these cutters to help cut panels out, and if so, do they work well?!

Yeah I'm pretty sure that's what the colors are. I've played a little with it today and it is so nice, and it's floppy! I think this one will be one of my favorites!

Bag #14! This is the template I plan on sticking with because it's perfect to hold in the filler, and it's nice and floppy with just finger rolling!

I'm looking to start trading, so if anyone wants to trade bags let me know!

Well I would've been working on my 92 panel and had it done by now if I wouldn't have made a new template so I could use my new filler!

Here's the result! It came out way too small,(possible mini pattern?!) but I have already made a bigger template and am going to test it out here AFTER the ...

Brian the way you stitch yours sounds so much more practical, but I just based how to stitch mine around how I normaly make a 32 panel!

Oh by the way Brian, is that silver material you use theatrical suede or something like that? I think I found some at JoAnn's but I'm not completely sure. There ...

Yeah I did mark every. single. stitch! It was worth it though because I would've been so lost without it.

A little over halfway done!

Bag #10 from me. Couldn't wait to kick it so its got a little bit of dirt on it! The stitching is very even and consistent throughout the bag.

Anyone near NYC this Saturday?

I will be in NYC this weekend for a cross country meet and was hoping on Saturday that there would either be a stitcher that could evaluate or give me tips on some bags I've made or just some people to play footbag with in the area!

One more question about how this works. If you are in do you have to have the bag stitched before the 21st or how would that work?

I like the idea but what exactly would define "veteran" and "newbie"? would it be the amount of bags a person has stitched prior to this? I would be in if i knew what defines the categories (if there are any)!

I know it may not be choice filler but I used copper bb's as the weight and then poly pellets to "fill it" if you know what I'm trying to say.

That's what I was thinking. Well I have now read those over three times and understand everything there.

A number on the bags is going to happen so I don't regret anything and also to see how far Ive come once I make more bags. Thanks!

Yeah I suppose I would be if anyone else played footbag here! Total I've made 3 two stitch 32 panel bags out of some crappy material and then this three stitch. I've made about three four panels as well.

I'm working on consistency right now as far as the pentagons go but I think I might still be ...

Hey everyone this is my first bag with ultrasuede light (have made others with crappy material!) and also my first three stich and it came out exactly the size of a golf ball! I was hoping for some people to give me all the criticism you can! Thanks for the help!
