IMAO Dragon is by FAAAAAAARRRRrrrr the ugliest move ever in footbag.
Take a picture of a dragon stall, fill the player with black sharpie and observe the silhouette. It's hideous!!!

You probably got microsuede instead of ultrasuede.
UltraSuede light is pretty tough and doesn't fray (at least the one I have).
I bought some microsuede at Joannes as well... some of them fray like crazy. The faux leather microsuedes are better.

I think access to footbag is another problem.
Playing with a real bag makes a huge difference on improvement and consequently making the player more interested in the sport.

Have a step by step process to get people to learn it fast and properly.
Something divided in modules to get the newcomer to follow it.

1-Shouldn't be intimidating. Don't have Top players performing 7 adds in the front page.
It's beautiful for a medium to experienced player, but ultra intimidating for a beginner.

People playing 1-2 (maybe 3) adds is easier to understand and more welcoming.

I'm a newcomer myself and I can say that footbag information is very cryptic and hard to find. There are tons of stuff out there, but is not so easy to understand it when you're starting.

You have to be really interested to make the time investment to find and organize all that information ...
