Spenco crosstraniers or low profile?
Spenco crosstraniers or low profile?
idk which to get, id like the low profiles for the toe room, but maybe the cross trainers break in thinner? they look too thick to me.
comments? yes I tried the search, no help as always

Plain, with everything.
I have never used or seen the low profiles. I have used the crosstrainers for years with great results.

The Crosstrainer insoles elevate your feet a little too high in my opinion. I had more problems than benefits concerning balance for me. Although, it does help prevent foot injury a bunch.
If I can find a Spenco insole that has a fairly thin but can help prevent some foot injury, that would be swell.

did the toe of the lows deteriorate? quickly?Wumbo wrote:i had both and yea, the thicker ones are better. you´ll have better pain/injuryprevention and in the front they have the same thickness.
the cross trainers are too thick for me too, I like to feel the ground, lower is more maneuverable. I hate that new laver frankenstein feel

wasabi u made me think about my insoles because i have some balance problems. i thought this is because of my form but now i might get the lows again, because they actually dont push u up so much, and are lighter, what is a good advantage. the walker is 60g per shoe, comon, 60g is way too much. yesterday i was playing without any insoles and wow, i could make dexes more fast a lot. i started with the lows but i exchanged them for the walkers cuz i felt pain, that was when i started, when i was untrained and much heavier. i dunno if i still need that much absorption.
is the crosstrainer as thick as the walker in the heel? whats the weight of the crosstrainers?

I have no clue about the weight difference between the walker/runner and the crosstrainers, but I can say that with the crosstrainers there is another layer of cushioning to help sustain further shock from your toes. How that would affect weight is unknown to me, but it definitely affects the feel and height of your toes to the shoes toebox.
There is no difference in heel support. It's technically the same design from there.

It was too much for my playing style when I slipped on the Spencos Crosstrainers into my first pair of G-units. There was way too much height and it definitely hindered my toe sets. I now play in the G-unit stock insoles, since the sole itself delivers enough shock absorption to make it somewhat unnecessary for me.
I might get some Spencos low-profiles if I were to make my playing style much more fierce, but I'd doubt that.
