1) Decide what is most important to you: quick breakin, long bag-life, or combination of both
2) Ask your stitcher which colors they have that will satisfy your bag desires: if you want a quick to break in bag, you probably want a bag with very thin colors. If you want a bag that lasts forever, you probably want a bag with fairly thick colors. And if you have no preference, ask for a bag with colors that arent too thin or thick.
3) Ask your stitcher if he/she understands your bag desires and can produce a product that you will be satisfied with. If he/she doesnt, do not buy from that stitcher- too little experience.
4) Pick your poison: allow the stitcher to choose colors for you based on your desire, or choose your own and face the potential consequences.
5) Break your bag in carefully. You just paid between 20 and 40 dollars for it!
6) Treat your bag well. Wash it gently, play with it gently. The surfaces you play on have the greatest impact on the life of your footbag. Concrete/cement=early footbag death, while carpet= everlasting life.
7) Dont blame the stitcher for hole development because it was a breakdown in the fabric rather than in the stitching!
Come boy, choose wisely then . . .
