Well, there was this one niight Sam where I *did* have a bit too much to drink. I felt guilty the next day since I had a hangover and just say in a chair drinking water and playing pokemon the entire day

Had a good 3 hour session this morning/afternoon. My shuffle was sucking up and I was feeling tired so I ended up just drilling stuffs.

I've been a bit riddled with injuries lately. A few days ago the outside of my hip on my left leg was acting up, disablign me from doing most in/out and out/in dexes. That got a bit better then my right glute was really sore (not a factor from last night's hot date

). Now my hip is a tad sore again. I shall pop some inflammatories and stretch it out in the days to come and see on maybe Sunday or Monday how it feels.

I've been really busy with babysitting lately and today was my first kicky in a few days. My hip feels better (which is good) but I think I may have slightly pulled/strained my groin (which is bad). It feels alright now (which is good), but now after the traumatic experience I had with an apple (check the Kicking Circle) my stomach feels all funny (which is bad).

While babysitting my little cousin today, I dragged him into the world of kicking and had a kick myself. It was sooo hot today that I absolutely could not do any strings so I just did whatever. It turned out good

And kick I did! Unfortunately Kevin was working so he wasn't able to attend, but Rory came out and we had an awesome session. No, scratch that. We had an incredibly awesome session. We both hit really good things and got A LOT of responces from spectators. In total I think we played for around 3 hours? Maybe a bit less?

Lots of good highlights! My runs were doing pretty good this evening as well, I mixed it up so some runs were all shuffle and others had no shuffle whatsoever. Afterwards, we went back to Rory's house then ate watermelon and watched Hackrifice vids!

Hackrifice Jam is in less then a week - I CAN NOT WAIT! They are all like Egyptian Foot-Gods to me

Last night I went into the city to attend an official ShrEdmonton meeting. Unfortunately for me, Kevin and Rory already kicked for 3 hours that day so I was on my own, with Kevin filming. I felt pressured because I got the impression it was boring for Kevin and he wanted links for the camera

Aside from a really long contact Clipper based run, I had no warm up and the session ended when my right knee suddenly exploding in pain - a funny thing because I stopped doing high-stress concepts and was only doing runs with semi-shuffle tricks in it. The fact that it hurt so much really made me angry. If my knee does not hinder me for my next kick (tomorrow) then I will call this a good session. If not, then I just fucked myself over for Hackrifice

Hackrifice was a blast, it was definitely worth the time it took for us to get there and the 7 hour bus trip from Saskatoon to Edmonton that awaits Kevin and I.

Meeting Eric and Derek was such a great experience, I've been watching Hackrifice videos ever since I started over two years ago, then finally meeting them really meant a lot to me. Seeing Andrew again was great, he has improved a lot and his dreads make him look even more sexy / dangerous then ever

. Beware the blades!!

I'll write an overview when I get back home but for now I just wanted to jot down some of the footbag highlights before I forget. In no particular order:

- Reversius (Reverse Marius)
- Stepping ss Reverse Torque
- Spinning Mobius

- Fog > Atom Smasher > Legbeater bs
- Rubberman x 2.5
- Ripped Warrior > Ripped Warrior
- Blurry Drifter > Pdx Torque bs

- Maelstrom > Whirlwind off the foot (never hit a 6 > 6 before)
- Run with 6 unique fearless
- Blurry Whirl > Sidewalk > Blurry Whirl > Sidewalk

- A few runs that were really long for me (+20 contacts)

That's about it I think - I was really happy with my performance during the competition. My Shred 30 contained only 3 drops this time, sooo much better than the 7 I had for ShrEdmonton, and I hit my Sick 1 and Sick 3s. My knees were a bit sore through-out the weekend but with some stretching and mixing up my shred they were not giving me too much problems. I have a good idea of how I can impove my game just from watching everyone else, so I'm excited to get back into the drill and shredding process to see how it works out!

Big thanks from us to Hackrifice for the event, it was so great. I eagerly look forward to next year

Poopchute, you got me all excited Evan... err... Kevin! I was just thinking of putting out another video. Not my *hush hush* "Big Project" but just one of a session or two compiled together but then I figured that the footage from Hackrifice will be out in about two weeks or so so I decided against it. Maybe though...

. 7 o' clock, right?

So holy poop. I got back from Edmonton, slept for 8 hours then woke up only to spend the next 2 days sitting in a truck and helping my dad up north. Just today I drove back and what a long drive - started at 8am, stopped at 12:00 for lunch then got home at around 5:30pm.

I just finished reading Erik's write up of the Hackrifice event and got all excited - the memories flashed back like lightening. I really hope that next year I will be able to spend more time with the crew from Winnipeg. Oh oh, cool idea - I can show Erik my totally dominating Pokemon Team

. I played against myself and in three matches was able to kill Mewtwo twice (three lvl 51, one lvl 50 and two lvl 40 pokemon on my team against a lvl 76 Mewtwo)! The other match Mewtwo completely obliterated the six Pokemon but that's because I went kamikazee with Pyschic blasts

.

Anyways, I kicked this evening without too much to report. I am sick and was pretty off but I think I got most of the rust off for tomorrow.
