no, and if we get rid of all complex names I'm all for them, but they are tricks that I do 1/3 out of all the times I touch the bag, and A. I think its cool if they have names, B. It ties them together like fear/smear, fudge/smudge and I think thats a way cool system, and C. its not A LOT harder to say it out, but shorter is a little easier, maybe I'm just a victim of this lazy day in age(is it in age or and age) we're living in.

How about the Perch stall?
you ask "What is the Perch Stall?"
Ill tell you!
its where you set the bag about chest level, you point with your index finger extended completly, and only you index finger.
You stall the bag ON you finger, (and heres the catch..) You HAVE to bounce it up and down a few times, and whisle like a bird. (or say tweet a few tims, if you can't whistle) Then drop it back into play.
Now it doesn't count, unless you bounce it, and sound like a bird!
heh. im gonna do that at css4. . .watch

i'd just like to throw in my 2 cents:
first of all, the whole thing about calling a "the'd" move kind of elludes me. the idea of interupting someone mid-run to yell "aww man that was the'd!" doesn't seem to be consturctive to me at all. maybe i'm just not one to say things to people like that but i'd rather say something along the lines of "good combos, you've been skooling those whirrs?" i dunno something along those lines.
and second. Shaq sucks. a big jerk with no acting skills to be found. (how the hell did he end up in 3+ movies?!?)
third of all, i'd just like to give props to Alex Zerbe for once again as always moderating the conversations going on here on our great forums. he never ceases to bring things up about people's comments i agree with... footbag rocks.

1. I agree about not calling people on the in mid run. I will wait til they finish and bring it up if I think its appropriate.
2. Shaq cant act, this is true.
3. Have you heard Shaq rap? That`s almost as funny. Props to the Spurs for stopping them tonight. Kobe is incredible and fun to watch, but I hate his attitude, and his team also has the same attitude, but without the talent to back em up.
4. Japanese footbag players are so nice.
5. Furious same butterfly is cool.
6. Does anybody have any tips about mashing out of Magneto`s Hyper-grav-Tempest combos? Im tired of losing to Magneto scrubs cause I suck at mashing.

I agree with madshred2003, personally I respond HORRIBLY to negative reinforcement. Focus on the positive, people. If someone the's a move... I wouldn't call it... let the play through it. If you want to help them out, wait till they finish. However, if they catch it themselves, I think that they should decide for themselves what they should do.

it appears c-fan and i are on the same page here.
the fact of the matter here is, gentlemen, Shaq is a moron. and i blame him for any discomfort or anger felt by any footbagger because of someone shouting "the'd man, but good try". it is not something nice to say to someone. this is very true. getting better has a lot to do with support of others. it's good to see so many agree with this idea.

I've given up on learning ripped warrior for the 4th time because every time I try, within my first 3 trys, I end up kneeing myself SOOO hard right in the base of my bicep and being in pain for like 10 minutes. I wish my arms didn't get in the way there.

I would always kick myself when learning paradox whirl. Right in the tips of my fingers. youch! I also occasionally kick myself in the balls on some sets and kick my own ass on blenders sometimes.
As for the's, I am glad people call out the's, although it's nicer when done at the end of a run. If I'm not doing a move cleanly I really want to know. The main problem when learning new double dexes for me is not knowing how clean it is. Anyways, if you ever play with me, please call out the the's!
