Footbag Video Christmas Calendar (no video yet)

Post by jerkki »

Hi all,
I had an idea that maybe we should put up a footbag christmas calendar starting on the 1st of December and ending on Christmas eve. Every day there would be a new video (just like in a calendar). This would be open for anyone to attend.

Some main rules I thought of:

1.All the videos should be sent to me until 1st of December (via mail or internet)
2. I would find a host for them and take care of updating the site where the online calendar would be situated
3. Maximum length 5 minutes

Some other things that could also be taken under consideration:
-Should there be a voting which was the best after all the videos are published?
-Should all the videos have some kind of a theme? (like every video should have a name/idea somehow connected to christmas)?
-How would we choose which video is shown on which day (some kind of a lottery maybe..)?

CURRENT LIST OF PARTICIPANTS:
-Nic Bathgate
-Anssi Sundberg
-David Clavens (2)
-Jere Vainikka
-John Mahood
-Kevin Regamey (2)
-Asmus Helms
-Rory Dawson
-Mikko Lepistö
-Tuukka Antikainen
-Michal Biarda
-James Randall
-Juho Marjo
-Gareth Williams

WE STILL NEED ATLEAST 8 NAMES!

Keen, anyone?

Jere

I'm keen. Does the video have to have a particular theme? I am currently making a video on the history of footbag.

I don't think they should have theme . . . just completley random footbag video's, that way the editer/filmer won't have any restriction and they can just make the best thing ever!

PS this will be just the Advent Calender on Neopets!

That's an awesome idea! I can't say I'm in-- that really depends on a lot of factors, but I hope this works out because it would make this [exaggeration]THE BEST CHRISTMAS EVER[/exaggeration]

(or at least be pretty damn cool)

if your looking for 24 different editors, that could hold you up.

i could make 2 videos. one early in the month, one later.

OK, so maybe I should write down names who are willing to make a video. I'm updating the names on my first post from now on, please tell me if you want your name off or on the list. If there's a (2) after your name it means that you want to do two videos in case there aren't enough video makers on the list.

Keep the names comin'

Updated the list, still missing 16 videos.
Maybe someone could make this topic sticky and get rid off the 2005 Video Challenge topic, it's old news anyway.

Too easy.

I'd love to make a video if I have the chance but I can't gaurantee anything yet.
