Should heckling be allowed at footbag tourneys?

I think yes-it incourages the shredder to play harder!

I don't think it's a matter of whether it should be allowed or not.. it just doesn't have a place at events. When people drop the crowd always gets behind them and SUPPORTS them!

I don't think it's good to be discouraging people!

There are no rules against heckling. I'd just have a lot less respect for anybody who heckled me while I was competing. Of course there are rules about sticking to the "spirit of the game" etc. and certainly you could interpret the rules as against heckling but I think you'd lose a lot by heckling anyway and it wouldn't be worth it.

I'd probably smack the person who heckled me. No shit. It's not encouragement in any way what-so-ever. It's demeaning and crule.

I think friendly heckling in shred circles is funny, but not during a routine or competition. That's just plain mean.

Then I think you take footbag too seriously. It is a sport, but it is also a time to have fun with others. Don't take life so seriously, it's too short.

Heckling is like teasing. Like in Vegas we'll yell "THE" after every trick someone hits just to mess with them. It's fun, but if someone is seriously trying to hit something, we don't heckle them.

Heckling is ok at the appropriate time, but not all the time.

Hahaha I totally did that to someone in beer pong the other day. Everyone had a laugh. But yeah, it's kinda weak to do so in footbag.

Nah, no paddles. I'm not super-great, but I'm not too bad. I made some killer shots this weekend and managed to pull out almost all of my victories. Maybe we can hit up some ping pong ball in the cups of beer sometime.
