My New Bag: Break In

Well, I got my new bag, "elemental" and I am loving it..

My game got so much better by simply getting a better bag.

One thing i noticed is it is as of now it is pretty bouncy off of my feet, making it a pretty hard bag to stall...

Over time as this bag breaks in, will it get less bounce and easier?

Its not really a big deal, I can just get used to the bag as it is, but it would be sicker if it lost some of its bounce as it broke in.

yeah, the bag will eventually break in and not be so bouncy, and softer as well. this means easier stalling. be sure to wash the bag as needed, check the bags and equipment washing tutorial if you need to, or theres a million threads on washing. take care of your bag as if it were your first born, and itll take you far. there are ways to help breakin the bag like hand massagin and such, just search the forums. good luck with your new bag!

Yeah, I just washed it in the sink with just like normal hand soap...Ill be taking care of it.

I would get pictures of my camera wasnt broken...It does everythign it shoudl except take pictures, but here is a picture of the footbag off the site.

i bought this cause it was the first decent one i found on the internet, about 20 minutes before i found this site...

I have a 32 as well that came with it.

Yeah, I don't think I'd use one of those 120 panel footbags or whatever it is. Looks weird.

EDIT: I can't even tell what shapes the panels are. The stitching looks pretty wild in that picture there. :S

I just started playing my 32 panel, and im pretty sure its filled with like bb's...

I can actually play better with it,but its real bouncy and a lot smaller..I have a better sense of direction with it..

One of you sick stitchers on here, I woudlnt mind picking up one of the 32 panel bags you guys stich, yours look soo nice.

Hell, I'll PAY for your shipping and give you a Mr. Sandbag. It'll work better than that bag you have there, and the 32 panel they shipped to you as well.

I've had experienced with bags like those and two things came to my mind - 1) the fabric is stiff synthetic suede - it'll take forever to break in with little results! Not as bad as a Juice Facile that will never break in, but it's close enough. 2) The filler is only plastic pellets. With synthetic suede and tight stitching such as that, you're better off playing with a Takraw or a Net bag for controlled kicks. Stalls/delays/sets? Possible, but very uncomfortable.

Haha, Id appreciate it beyond belief if youd be willing to send me a sandbag....I will paypal you money if you want it..

After Buying these I definitely do regret it i think, but still better then my first bag I played with...

All the 32 panel bags you guys stich on here, are they filled with sand?

I woulnt mind buying a 32 panel from one of the stitchers on this site if they are that much better.

kyle would probably send you a mr. sandbag which is a pretty decent bag, expecially for beginners. I like them alot! I have 5 =)

P.S. me and kyle also have the last of the brown and white european Mr.s

there a good bag and they are easy to stall. They also break in in a decently short amount of time. they definitely worth it.

I might scrounge up some money and pick up one of richard abshires bags....I like footbagging, nothing is really super expensive, even for a kid like me.

well, im lookign to trade these three bags for a good 32 panel bag that will last a good amoun of time and be good to learn on..

all these bags are pretty much like brand new.
