Don't underestimate the edges, no matter how dull they seem. In time, whether through hand break-in or kicking with a bag that has filler like this, it will eventually cause holes.
Just stick with sand/plastic pellets/BBs/shot fillers.

with time and kicking ANY type of filler no matter what it is will cause holes in the fabric. It think those plastic pellets would be fine. If you wanted a step up from those pellets, you should get some polly pellets. they are nice and round and about the same size as those. they may be a little softer too.
You should be able to find a bag at Walmart or AC Moore or any Craft store. just ask them where their stuffing materials are and it should be with those. only $6 for a VERY large bag. im talking a bag that would take you like 2 years to use.

yeah, i just picked up a bag from hobby lobby that was 5 dollars for 2 pounds of plastic pellets. theyre like yours from the pic, but odd shaped, and round edged. they work well. ive used em in 2 bags so far, and its a huge difference in play and weight. and feel. theyre so important in making a good product.
of course thats my opinion. i love how they feel in footbags. you may not.
cheers
