I've been training solo for 12 months out of the last 18.. I can't handle it anymore..

It turned out guys from Strzelin came to the session, and there was also Ales and Piechu. So it was almost like a jam - awesome I played in one circle most of the time, it was nice to shred with all the people I haven't seen since last tournament. Some new stuff:

Footbag day today! We started shredding at two o'clock in the Town square - there were 5 people so we had a good circle. We got lots of audience and they seemed to like us, as we earned enough money to buy some food afterwards The shred was good, I don't think I hit anything new, but I had a run that began with Matador > Pdx Blender which is a new link for me
After the shred session we went to some nearby place for some kind of a festival. As soon as we arrived there we saw a football match going on, so we joined as a footbag team We kicked those guys asses pretty bad haha 
Then we proceeded to some more shred, frisbee tossing and then Footbag Net!
I only played Net a few times, but today I had so much fun playing - I think I played for 3 hours straight. I think that when I break my knees from too many PS Whirls I'll switch to Net

Euros were fantastic! It's too bad it was only four days, but still, I had so much fun and shredded a lot, so not a single hour was wasted Time for a write-up:
We arrived on Thursday, after 20 hours in a bus (the trip felt suprisingly fast though). Finding Pyramides de Vidy wasn't so hard and soon we arrived at the place. Switzerland is beutiful, and Lausanne even more! The event site was right on the lake shore, and the view was espectacular - huge lake, and right behind it, mountains covered in snow and clouds It was really awesome. After saying hi to all the people who were already there, we met up with the rest of the Polish crew (they arrived earlier), registered, got the players booklets, posters, and a cool 4Square badges, that were later used in the competition. Soon we left the place and went to the first party. After a long walk, we arrived, to find out that we needed to have the players identificators to enter the place. The bad news were that they were in our bags that were taken to the sleeping place by the organizers 
So we decided to go back to the bunker and shred there. The bunker was pretty cool, there was a big room where soon me, Riku, Tuomas, Samu and Gielnik began to shred. It was an epic session, many great combos and tricks were hit. We played from 12 to about 2:30 in the morning I hit two new tricks then - Furious Drifter (yeah!) and frontside Whirlwalk, which I promised to name Salmiakki if I was the first one to hit it Riku played really well, I remember very long combos with lots of unique tricks from him, Tuomas was also hitting nice tripless runs and Samu almost got a beast combo (Shooting Butterfly > Blurry Torque > Food Processor). After the shred I had a battle with a cold shower (unfortunately there was only cold water at the bunker) and went to sleep.
The second day started early, with a great breakfast (lots of fruits, muesli, bread with different jams, milk and all the nice things you want to eat in the morning ). I remember playing some 4Square to warm up, and also helping Steve make the official court (did you know that you actually need to have Steve to make an official court, as the lenght of the lines is measured in Steve's feet? ) After a few hours the Open Freestyle Qualifications started. Three of the four Polish participants were in the same pool, so we weren't very optimistic. But we all played well, and advanced to the semis. That was the only competition thing that day, so we spent the rest shredding and just chilling.
I played with the German crew, and saw them hitting some crazy stuff. Jakob is crazy good, he can throw anything he wants after Butterfly Swirl, Matthias was also hitting awesome combas as always, and Yves Kreil was off the hook! I think he is the best technical player in the world, even Vasek isn't as good at shuffle as he is. Max Kerkhoff was also busting cool links - thanks for the shred guys! Tina is really good - I was in a circle with her for a while, and she just keeps getting better. Jochen also really impressed me - he is very consistant and has Stepping and Pixie dialed.
I'll explain what were the 4Square badges for - in the beggining you get a small red and a small blue one. Then you had to find three other people with the same badges and play a game with them. If you win, you take the three other red badges and exchange it for a bigger one (for semis). If you loose, you still have the chance to get a medium blue one, if you win with three other people with them. It worked the same way in semis - so you end up with a big red or a big blue one, and you are in the finals.
The day ended with a short trip to the bunker, as we took the bus and metro this time. I decided to go to sleep fast, to recover from so much shred and sun. The next day was the day of most Freestyle events. We tried to play some Net in the morning, but it was very windy (the Net sets were falling down sometimes!) so we decided it was better to just kick and wait fot the disciplines. The routines were first, and again me, Wiktor, and Budzik were in the same group
I had 3 drops if I remember good, and was satisfied I was even more happy when it turned out all Polish players advanced to the finals! Go Poland Vasek hit a Beast in hit semis routine (Whirlwind x3), and also Scorpion's Tail x3, Whirr x3, and some other stuff, to the music of course Sick3 eliminations went good too, I hit Janiwalker > Blurry Whirl > PS Whirl and advanced, same with Shred30 (my score was 168 or something like that). Paul Cronjaeger hit an awesome Shred30 in eliminations (206 if I remember correctly) and was right after Vasek. Everything went fast afrer that, Shred, 4Square (got to the semis), watching Net games. Finally came dinner with something like Kus-kus or whatever it's called. The food at the tournament was vegetarian only but it was quite good. That day we had small problems with finding our way to the bunker, as we approached the EPFL (where the bunker was) from different direction. Everything looked the same and we just circled the whole thing a few times before finding the place. Of course it turned out that we were really close in the beggining
The day of the finals went even faster. I remember arriving at the place, warming up slowly in some circles, playing some more 4Square and getting to the finals. Then there were routines, really high level - I played good, had 2 drops and finished on 9th place. Vasek destroyed everyone with his routine, what I remember the most was the moment where some scratches came in his song, and then we all heard a hardcore voice mixed with the music, shouting "Vasek Clouda" - in the same moment he busted a phat Whirr - that was amazing. Stefan Siegert was second - even though his music turned off in the beginning, he recovered, started again and finished with one drop. His routine was very artistic and I think he fully deserved second place. Karim Daouk was third with a hard routine that got big applause from the crowd. Then there was Matthias Shmidt on 4th, Dexter and Budzik ex aequo on 5th place, Damian Gielnicki 7th, Manu Schmidt 8th, myself on 9th and Wiktor Dębski on 10th place. So four of then finalists were from Poland - good job guys! In Sick3 finals I hit my safety combo again and in Shred30 did a little better then in Semis, I think my score was somewhere near 175.
Then, after the events I was shredding with Jakob and Matthias, the organizators announced that 4Square finals were about to start! The players were Tuukka Antikainen, Max Kerkhoff, myself and Steve Goldberg. The cool part was, that there was a huge crowd around the 4Square court, cheering us up, and clapping after good trick shots - that was really awesome. There was also one of the organizers with the microphone, saying our scores and giving some info about the game to the people watching. In the beginning I had a good rally and got up to 7, and then 10 points, but at that moment, all the other players started getting me out. Tuukka was getting points really fast, with his behind the back shots, so soon everyone started attacking him. I took advantage of this situation and got to the king's square once again. After a few fakes and well placed shots I was at game point. Unfortunately Tuukka got me out with a nice thigh shot, and I had to start from scratch. At that point Steve started doing his most deadly trick shots that were landing either perfectly near the line or in the far corners. Soon he got 14 too. The tension was rising, and passes started to be dramatically fast. Steve served to me, and thankfully, a Knee shot set up from the far corner behind Steve's back worked and he was out. Two more outs and I was on the kings Square again. 14 serving 14. Steve got the serve and sneaked a low pass on my left side, but I got it. I did a behind the back knee kick and after a few passes Steve made a mistake and kicked the bag below my knees. I raised up my arms and proclaimed victory
Soon the award ceremony started. Vasek won all three Freestyle categories, Damian Budzik was 3rd in Sick3, and Bartosz Pachucki got silver medal in Intermediate Net. After the ceremony we shredded some more, and watched Vasek playing in a circle. He hit Backside Clownface, which we got on tape, and was clean - that's the hardest trick I've ever seen, and I don't think anyone will get close to Vasek skill anytime soon. He also hit some stuff like Symp. Whirr without a plant, Triple Whirr, and stuff like this. I also remember a crazy run that was made of almost only Symposium tricks, like PS Whirl > PS Whirl > Whirlwind > PS Whirl > Superfly > Superfly > PS Whirl > Backside Bedwetter > some other crazy stuff. It seems like he's also getting better and better in toe to toe shred. He hit a run which went like Atom Smasher x4 > Toe Blur x4 > Terrage > Terrage, and had Enterrage BS in it. He is amazing.
The day ended with a long chat with Andrew McCagar. He told me a lot of interesting stuff about the players in the USA, and a few funny stories It was cool to learn more about the roots of our sport. At about 2 we got back to the bunker, said bye to everyone, as we were leaving early next day and went to sleep. The next morning we almost missed our bus! If we walked a little bit slower, and one of the city buses would run away, we would be late Thankfully we made it, and safely got home.
It was an amazing event and I'm really happy that I got to participate in it. Big props to the people involved in organization, and everyone that I met, talked, shredded or played 4Square with

Thanks, it's cool that you liked my report I had my first session after Euros today, we played outside. There were five people playing, so we could form a nice circle. The ground was a little wet, and a little more dirty, but we found a spot where it was ok to shred. I played with Hania for the first time since... a long time. She has a really great style, and she hit Pixie Torque first try today! Nice. I had some ok runs, and got some new links:
Pixie Whirl > Stepping Whirl > Blurry Whirl > run with the other Stepping Whirl > PS Whirl
Blurriest > Barrage > Pixie Paradon > run with other Barfly > Barrage > Paradon
I hit some Symp. Twirls too again, maybe I'll school them more and start to put them in runs? It's a nice trick, combined with other Symp. tricks - Flail > Symp. Whirl > Symp. Twirl would be a nice combo I think. I was trying to hit Symp. Flux today, and I just can't figure it out how it's possible to turn after the dex This trick is really hard. Maybe trying it from Osis would make it a little easier. There's a big tournament that starts this weekend - I can't wait already

I hit some Symp. Twirls too again, maybe I'll school them more and start to put them in runs? It's a nice trick, combined with other Symp. tricks - Flail > Symp. Whirl > Symp. Twirl would be a nice combo I think. I was trying to hit Symp. Flux today, and I just can't figure it out how it's possible to turn after the dex

Short session today, tommorow I'm leaving to Leszno to participate in the 4th annual Freestyle Footbag Battle! (that's a cool name for an event, isn't it? ) It was just me and Hania, so we didn't really go for long runs most of the time. I hit some more Symp. Twirls, I think I'm getting them down slowly I'm also under the influence of Yves Kreil, as I try to spice up my toe shred a little (like, hitting Pickups sometimes, instead of just Mirages and Legovers ).
We're trying to slowly get the Polish Championships together. I think it's going to be a good tournament.

So I came back from the tournament in Leszno today - I had an awesome time! Big props to the organizers - everything went smoothly with the schedule Also thanks to freezo for letting me and the Strzelin crew stay at his place!
So when we arrived at the event site I found out that I forgot to take my shorts...
Thankfully I borrowed a pair and was able to play In the beggining I shredded with Norek and some guys from Góra - they are all getting really good. Norek was hitting Rage and Whirring Swirl really easily, and later he finished his routine with DOD Swirl! He also won Shred30 - big props Norek! Marcin Bujko was also hitting crazy stuff in his runs. I also remember Maja and Delo busting cool combos - there are a lot of talented players in Góra.
The level of competition was pretty high, just look at the Sick3 combos that were hit:
1. Marcin Bujko (Alpine Sidewalk > Food Processor > Blurriest)
2. Rafał Kaleta (Symp. Flurry > Symp. Torque > PS Whirl)
3. myself (either Janiwalker > Blurry Drifter > Food Processor or Symp. Whirling Butterfly > PS Whirl > Symp. Torque)
Crazy stuff! Other Sick3 combos that didn't make it to the Top3 were for example Janiwalker > PS Whirl > Whirlwind or Phoenix > Spinning Butterfly > Spinning Ducking Butterfly. My routine went very good and I got 1st place, Tomek Ostrowski was 2nd and Marcin Bujko 3rd. Shred30 competition scores weren't so high, but still there were some good runs. Norek was 1st, I was second, and Marcin Bujko was 3rd.
There was also a BigOne competition and some great tricks were hit. I hit Croxton which was judged as the best trick. Tomek Ostrowski was 2nd with Gauntlet and 3rd place went to Rafał Kaleta who hit Alpha Plasma.
The second day we went to a big swimming center, with slides and stuff, it was really great We spent 2 hours there, just swimming or chilling in jakuzzi (great for tired muscles ). Now it's time to prepare for Polish Championships!
