I personaly wouldnt recomend finger rolling because it might cause an uneven breakin( yeah i cant resist doing it either ) but if you do, make sure its the same amount of pressure, the same amount of time on each and every panel.

I made a video in my .org account, "Break-in tips of the Master Hacker." Im not so sure what my gallery's addy is, but my member name is TheSpecialist and Im pretty sure you can just search for it with my real name, Jeremy Mirken. It shows how to do the finger rolling break-in and the finger poke break-in I believe. You'll see- very high production quality, hehe.

I guess I'll put my input on breakin' in bags
-warm up kicks with it
-work it with my fingers (pams) a bit, just like play with it around in your hand when you're bored
-wash it when it get's dirty
NOTE: Do NOT squeeze too hard whenever you're rising it, be VERY gentle, because the water trapped in the bag will come out forcefully and may puncture a hole in your pannel. Trust me, this already happened to TWO of my 32's and it sucks!!
-after washing it, I soak my bags in Snuggles Fabric Softener for 'bout a minute or so, then rinse.
-play with it in my hands while it's dryin' out
-repeat from the beginning

breaking in bags
eright... so i just got my amazingly cool and first 32 pannel (abshire), but it sux and i can barely stall w/ it...
i don't want to have to keep playing with a crap bag and wait weeks for it to break in;
is there a faster way to break in "non-broken-in" bags?
i.e. water, microwave... w/e

Lol... microwave...
People said freezing works ok, so you could try that... but if your bag breaks don't blame it on me.
Finger rolling is a good way, and just kicking it for your warmup is a good idea too... Then just switch to the bag that you kick better with.

i have 2 other mr. sandbags, 1 is a little over amonth old, and got a hole already so i glued it shut, and the other is a week old and already broken in, so i was just wondering how long it might've taken to break them in.. btw, the mr. sandbag is one kickass bag!
i really gotta wash these bags more

ur right, they don't suck, and that's not what i meant or intention when i said that...
i meant, my 32 abshire sux cuz its not broken in
i soaked it in water today and fiercly massaged it with my hands every free second i had ( which is alot being that i am a lifeguard and we get long breaks, and many of them )... so now its all mushy and SWEET!
it still needs some more breaking in, because its difficult to play w/ it; i may just have to get used to it (this is my first 32 panel)
