Get welllll Emily Kulczyk! Hey, I have a heel spur (aka plantar fasciaitis) on my left foot. I've had it for 3 months or so and it will get better or worse from day to day. I can't afford to see a doctor about it, but I do physical therapy for it every few days. Anyway, its a pretty hopeless feeling sometimes. I don't know how you feel but... Well my point is that we should have an informal race to see who gets better first. Right now it seems like we are tie.

I was hoping to get a laugh out of ya, but I dunno if I did. I enjoyed the pix. Your smile looks a bit more humble... but with whiter teeth. I think theres an emotion thats humility combined with clean skin and white teeth. You seemed it to me.

I dunno if you have seen it, but the movie 'Girl Interrupted' helps you appreciate what you have, when it seems impossible not to focus on what you are losing. I estimate a 50/50 chance whether you have seen it or not.

Remember, you are a star of FR, which pretty much no one is, you will always have that. I don't want that to be hollow, and I wish I were more humble in saying it. I just want you to be proud of yourself.

Well, I still don't even know you that well. But I think I gather close approximations through my emotional impressions. All I really wanna say is keep your chin up girl and get well soon.

ps. I have heard that if you practice a certain thing (footbag) and you become injured and can not practice it anymore then find an aspect to that thing (footbag) that you dont usually practice. Something that wont exacerbate your injury. For example, when I am really FAT I like to practice heel stalls. POssibly not possible, but since reality influenced me to write it to you, maybe there is something for you.

Done. It's only been... 7 months? This picture was taken when we were in LA filming for the Duncan commercial. On the way back to the central coast my disposable camera went through an airport x-ray machine and when I tried to develop the pictures at Walgreens they didn't turn out. I went to an expensive photo place and they fixed them up for me. I had them turned into digital pictures. Then I did what I said I would do 7 months ago and e-mailed Tommy (our waiter) this picture, a link to a footbag video, plus a link to the commercial.

Here are a few other random-ish pictures.

I must have been in a good mood if I was hugging a Chihuahua.

My hero:

The one that they couldn't fix that I wanted was- when I got off of the plane and went to the luggage area I was coming down the escalator and saw Mark (the director of the commercial) with a sign with my name on it. I felt like a big-timer. Haha.

I'm going to be away from the forum for the most part for the next week. I'm staying in a mobile home

while I'm in between houses. We're out of the 1st house and almost done cleaning it. We'll be in the 2nd one on the 6th.

I feel bad for not making a post about meeting Danny Petrick (Pirate Man) when he was here for a day and kicked with EJ and Jeremy. That doesn't mean I'm doing it now.

Not too much going on with the back stuff. Same old stuff=not great but not terrible. I'm on a new pain killer because the other one messed me up. I'm seeing a PT once a week and doing core muscle exercises and am almost done with the treatments on the machine.

Thanks Jamieson. Two nights ago Jeremy and I were invited to Steve's house to watch a special viewing of Bringing Out The Shred. I was excited to see what Steve described as the "first professionally edited footbag video," especially since I hadn't read a lot about it beforehand. I loved the casting and acting. There was narration and the premise of the plot was really fun and unusual. There were two times I went "woah" from the filming/editing. I heard at least a few other comments like that from other people during the movie. I think it was about 35 minutes long. It has English subtitles but I don't feel like I missed anything because I was reading them. So that's good. It is not a shred video, but it is a footbag movie.

And I played 2-Square barefoot. Fun. I'll be able to play 4-Square at the US Open, just not well (for me) since I haven't been playing at all. I'm still happy.

Don't worry, other areas are getting the bad heat. It was kind of chilly here for a lot of the day.

Today I met Ogden "O.G." Kent. He used to live in Wisco and has met our little sweetheart Henry G. Ogden learned about footbag from Will Rocky (that's a superhero-in-disguise name if I've ever heard one) but is living about 20 minutes away from us now while he's figuring out where on the Coast he wants to live. I got a few clips of him on Jeremy's camera but I don't think any of them are reflective of his level. We'll see. I think he's going to come out on Sunday to try net for the first time. I don't think he has ever seen it being played in person, but I might be wrong. Ogden and EJ kicked while Jeremy and I (the injured SC crew) watched and ate chicken fingers. I accidentally drooled chicken grease on Jeremy's blanket. Sorry Jeremy.

The four of us played 4-Square. It was Ogden's first time and he won the first game. How embarrasing for the rest of us! Not really, because he was good. Jeremy won the next game, and maybe the game of 2-S after I sat down. I played barefoot again because my shoes are all in storage except for my flip-flops that I wore today. All thirty-somehing pairs of shoes. I'm serious.

Physical therapy went well today. My hamstrings were virgin yesterday and today. I miss Tim.
