Hey, I got a MacBook Pro recently. They have cameras built-in. I made a video. It's kind of short, but I guess my style and shred are all right, and I'd like to hear some suggestions as to what to do to improve my game. I'm looking at you, Setman.
Comments, criticism, etc -- all welcome.

awesome! i've been waiting for footage from you for so long- mainly because i agree with almost everything you say related to footbag.
i know you can handle it so here's what i think: your ps whirls seemed kind of flat. maybe try to jump/land on your toes more. i also think a bit more knee bend on your osis' could help.
other than that- great! you seem extremely both sided, and the fury was tight as hell. precise style dude. every trick i saw was clean.

Hey Sam,
It's great to see that you've reached a totally new level in your game.
As per your request, here's some suggestions for next steps:
Really emphasize having that support foot inwards when doing clippers. The relation of the lower legs to each other should be 135 degrees. You do this when setting up for spins, which is good. Try to avoid 90 degrees as much as possible, as it puts unneccesary strain on the support leg.
Hold each of your stalls a split second longer. Many of your drops are a result of setting before the bag has secured itself in the sweet spot of the stalling zone.
Extend your oses a slight bit more from the body. Keep the insides of the knees touching throughout the carry. Try not to rush the motion. Make sure the stall is briefly frozen in clipper position (for tricks ending on osis and clipper)before the release (helps for linking into other tricks).
One of the signature points of our style is you love bending your knees. I find this a questionable decision. You'll find more room to cushion the bag for all tricks if you're playing upright with knees only slightly bent (just enough to avoid hyperextension). Then there is plenty of room to lower the body for moves like osis that require some extra carving power. Your run length will increase over time b/c the legs will expend less energy trying to hold the tense bent-leg position.
Follow through moves ending on toe stall that don't have a set afterwards. Try not to restrict the natural flow of motion and waste energy. Keep the bag travelling on the regular forward circular motion where it arcs toward yourself.
Also, after a move ending on toe leading to ss butterfly (i.e. 0:37), plant the toe stall and spring back up and dex instead of muting it. Don't hold legs in the air when you don't need to, unless it's a style preference. This wastes energy and will make you fatigue faster.
The biggest thing is to relax. Only tense parts of the body when they are being used for the trick. Generally, that means only the stallng surfaces should ever be tense (efficient dexes are done by the hips rather than the legs).
Your style is looking very clean. Sets, ducks, spins, whirls look good.
Keep up the hard work!
Jorden

Huh, weird. You should be able to just save the link... Trying going into the directory that contains the file and playing around.
Jorden, thanks a TON for the advice. I had thought of most of that before, but you synthesized all that in a very compact way to reference. Hopefully I can make some positive changes to my style. It's finally starting to look how I want but clearly my clipper form is problematic on a lot of stuff.

I got to see it! That was sweet sam. The fury was sooo nice. Couldnt believe it.
Your style... personally, i really like it. Theres something about the way you hit whirlygig that appeals to me also. Its a really unique twist you give the move (not literally, like... you dont twist. You know what i mean)
Good video, glad you can put them out more frequently than never now

I'm not really familiar with your game, but I'm definitely pleasantly suprised. You have great lightness on your toes which makes all the difference in the world. Your PS whirls seem a bit heavy, but all your other whirl variation moves were on. I didn't see any other symp moves other than whirl so maybe incorporate some more symp moves. Other than that, more videos please.
More C4 please <3
