i think the bila lavice era of vasek's shred appealed to me the most. his runs from that time were in my opinion the best mix of variety, style and difficult links. not to say that what he's hitting now isn't huge or that it isn't inspiring, but his shred from 2003-2004 is to me the best the game has ever been played. such a great mix of every thing cool and hard.

the Bila Lavice video looks like the same setting for a scene in The Champion's League DVD, where Vasek has the controller attached to him...

and yes, good runs. :D

That's because it is the same place.

No, I don't play soccer. Yes, there are competitions. 4 years. Lots of practice.

Bila lavice = 'White bench' or thereabouts

I agree with Andrew, 2003-2004 were my favourite years to watch Vasek, i thought his style was at its optimum then, in the fluidity and form. If you watch stuff from like Euros 2004 and Worlds 2004, so awesome.
I remember the hype around Bila Lavice when it came out, it must be one of the most popular vids ever. Everyone was just like, WTF!!?

No. If vasek did an atomic set, your head would blow up from sheer awesomeness and Modified would instantly become a pop-culture hot spot for 6 to 8 year old emo kids.Of course he does atomic sets. In fact, you can see Vasek hit atomic gyro mirage in a vid in the vid section as we speak, in Old Young vids, or something to that effect.

Regarding Vasek and his toe game, he has always had a phenomenal pixie set. In his earliest videos you will find a lot of smog, pigbeater, and dimwalk - all of the basics. Atomic sets for him were not as frequent. My guess would be that they were somewhat strenuous for him, even though he could hit them both sides without fail.

Vasek has always had an incredible clipper game. I believe this is one reason his toe game was always sparse, aside from the occasional blizzard to dimwalk combo. Imagine you are Vasek and you can hit almost any conceivable move from clipper set to clipper catch. Would you even bother with toe moves?

Now it's 2007, and in the past year or so video has come out showing Vasek really work his toe game. Although he is not hitting alpine smog on a routine basis, I have a strong feeling that he will develop his toe game to a level comparible with his clipper game. When that happens, our heads may actually explode.

Just imagine Vasek hitting pixie diving double over down > gyro jug handle > repeat!

Peace.
