Rest day today, I'm super tired. Stayed up late and I was tired yesterday while playing footbag (for more time than usual).

Yeah, I'm about dead. Fell asleep in class like 5 times.

Haven't played in too long.

Getting itchy.

It was on purpose though, I was trying to rest my legs because I think I've been sucking because of being tired. So I'm going to bed earlier, and not playing for a couple days.

I'm gonna play tomorrow though, and maybe fillm a couple clips of paradons for Henry. He doesn't like my double downs.

Doing this fun Phoenix art piece out of my head (Phoenix as in bird, not footbag) and I think it's gonna be pretty cool. It's just unfinished linework right now, but if it gets more developed tomorrow I'll see about posting it.

I wanna hit double blender SOOOOOO bad. I don't even know why, I'll probably just hit it once and then forget about it.

Speaking of, Cody hit a DSC super super clean/good on command on Monday. It was tight. Like, two distinct spins, and then a little pause and a clipper delay.

Speaking of Cody (lol, same start as above but -the comma), wtf is up with his posts in the Evolution thread? lol. I can't even follow them. Not because of the intelligence with which they are written but because of how ridiculous those statements are.

Seriously, religion? wtf. It's an excuse. Sorry if I offended anybody.

hey... how can you not follow them? (evolution thread) people simply say creationism is an excuse and i was pointing out how biblically evolution can fit in. aside from the fact the humans were anything but humans. do you really think i believe in god for no reason at all? i didn't just say bummer life ends and then you die, man that sucks. but wait! these christian guys have an answer, instead of dying into nothing your spirit lives on in perfect harmony with god for the rest of eternity. all i wanted was the truth and whats real. so i sought after it. i decided the promise of god, even if there was just a 1% chance he's real, was worth giving my whole entire life to. then i found out god really is everything the bible says he is. anyways thats why i posted that in the evolution thread.

Try quantum ss and op osis , might be fun.

Whenever i feel weak and my sessions arent that productive i just think of long runs (stuff like david,jorden,penske do) and continue shredin.

I was trying different quantum stuff today. I was getting really high sets out of it.
Pixie Paradon bsos, super clean both sides
Paradon, Smear, Tripwalk bsos
Tapping Pickup>Paradon (Harder than I thought it would be)
I really want to be able to hit swirls more consistently. I think I'll devote a session just to symple swirls and quantum (Quantum muted Swirl would be hawt)

Dude are you kidding me?! I'd love to kick! This is exciting! lots of people to play footbag with! You probably don't have any specific times, but do you have any specific times?

Today's a rest day though, and my legs are pretty sore. I've decided that I progress just as much if I take rest days (sometimes more). So I'm taking rest days. I used to not to because I felt like a little pansy bitch (and I still kinda do).

But whatever, I'm really excited right now. Got an awesome pm from Dr. Coffman, and then freaking Frank Sinatra posts in my blog wanting to play hacky sack.

I'm doing a speech on footbag. And, like. I was just reading some good parts in Harry Potter and I'm feeling pretty inspired. About anything really, but mostly footbag and drawing. I'm going to write one of the paragraphs right now, in here. It's not directed towards footbag players, but hopefully you'll find it interesting.

Man, footbag is my life. You all see me as the "hacky sack guy", and I guess I am to you, but footbag is not hacky sack. It is not stoners kicking around a bag (usually). It is my life. Without footbag, I guarantee you I would be just another aimless teenager doing bad in school, going home and playing WoW every day. Instead, I play footbag. You're thinking right now, "That's no different than video games!"

You're wrong.

Footbag is exercise, it is art, it is inspiration, it is beautiful, it is extraordinary, it is life. It's so hard to understand this, unless you're so deeply into something that all day, the only thing you think about is that thing. Everything I do is based on footbag. I buy my shoes according to how good they are for footbag. I buy the shortest shorts I can without looking like a freak. My shirts are all about footbag. I spent nearly $1000 to play footbag in Florida. I get my hair cut only because it gets in the way on my ducks.

Footbag is really really hard to explain when you go beyond the surface. I have some more ideas on what to put in there, but I don't have them totally formulated yet.

Hey man, glad to see that you're excited. Just so you know I am not that good at footbag.

I don't have any specific times. Business ends at 4pm each day, then I drive back to the hotel & ch-ch-change. So we're talking evenings, like 6pm & afterwards I think. Tuesday & Wednesday night are likely to be good for me - Monday I might just want to crash & then I fly back to Chicago on Thursday evening so that's out.

Got any ideas for an indoor shred spot? I'll pm you & shiz as this gets closer.

Well, good luck with your footbag speech. I'd suggest being very aggressive in your delivery and slamming your fist on the podium & working yourself into a frenzy.

Man, who cares how bad you are at footbag? It's still so much fun to play with people! Yeah, I think we could work out an indoor spot (actually, I'm positive).

I would offer you a place to stay, but I have to go to school so, yeah. Is your hotel free of charge?
