Ah the car accident. MY first one was because I was thinking about an accordian. My second I was looking at some titties next to me. My third I was driving completely safe and someone ran a stop sign and came in front of me, It put me out of footbag for 6 months. After your first accident you learn to drive better, after your second, you learn to drive best, after your third you learn to drive defensively. Skip to defensive driving and you may NEVER have another car accident.

hes absolutely right, always drive defensively, it is the only reason ive been able to aviod a lot of bad accidents due to other drivers.QuantumBalance wrote:Ah the car accident. They looked so much like me standing on the side of the tournament watching, so I went and played with them. They were cool kids. A little one sided, but they didn’t look like crap. I hope they stick with it. It made me really happy to see that spark in their eye that I may have lost. I hope I get it back.
Good to hear you're ok.
Dave, maybe you should try to shred with people more often if you're not. It may help bring back the pleasure and joy of footbag to you. If it does. Grab it and hold onto it as long as you can.
DEAR BLOG READERS, PLEASE READ.
I was going to post this in the main section of modified but I think enough people read my blog to merit it being placed here (plus someone would maybe complain).
Anyway, I am in the Penn State Marketing Association here at school. We do different projects to promote products on campus and the one we are doing now involves windows live messenger, which I'm sure you're familiar with. To reach the level of membership I want to attain this semester I need 20 people or more to do the following. If you do it and email me, I will send you new footage of me in return for your 5 minutes.
1) go to www.imforacause.com
2) choose Penn State University for your school
3) In the middle of the page, under "how it works" click download.
4) Download the program, open it up.
5) Send a message to [email protected] with this text: PSMA, David Clavens
6) Send me an email at davidclavens at gmail dot com or IM me or PM me and I'll give you a video for your trouble.
That's it. Depending on your modem speed this is a 5 minute or less thing. I believe a dollar gets donated to charity for everyone who downloads the program, plus you are helping me get credit for my organization. Plus, once I get your e-mail I'll link you to some footage.
Maybe this is ghetto, but I've already hassled my friends here and I really just need 20 people. Hopefully you can give me a bit of your time. You can uninstall it right after you send that email my name and PSMA.
Thanks!

What if you already have Windows Live Messenger?

My Website
Pm me for details about Munster Bags!
Then just wait until [email protected] comes online and send him that same text. That should work.
I am not sure why he is not online, he said he would leave it up for the duration of the promotion. Either way, if you download the program just leave it open until that name comes online, send the message, and then you can uninstall everything.

I woke up with my ankle hurting. But I had two good sessions in a row. The best thing was 5 unique quads in one run. Both nemesis, nebula, pixie fusion, and arch nemesis. It was really cool to hit that.
One of my good friends sessioned with us yesterday. Maybe he will pick up footbag. He managed some 2's first day out which is cool.
My weekend was really good and then got really lame. I don't love it here right now, but I also don't like being home. Meh.
NYJ in 18. Maybe that will be fun.

Pretty good day so far. I have 5 exams and I just took two of them. Pretty sure I got a B on the first one and an A on the second one. Only 3 exams left, yay.
Played footbag yesterday with Bevier yesterday, had a blast. We play in my basement now of my dorm, its really good. We were just going back and forth one on one sweating bullets busting out. I hit superduperfly>backside bedwetter, which is one of my favorite combos but I'm not sure if I've ever done it. Oh, it was first try too which was sweet.
I have to study, get those exams out of the way, and then get really good for NYJ. And stitch a lot.
Alright, time to write my final essay for english.
late.

Here is my review of the Quantum 2.
My quantum story starts with a very nice free pair from the planet footbag people, who are very generous and supportive. I thank them very much for my pair. I was really happy to get them in the mail and I freaked out when I saw how good they looked. I have the gray.
The best attribute about the quantum 2 is that they make footbag more fun to play. Really, it’s kind of nuts. I put them on and I feel really good and springy and they actually made clipper fun for the first time in a few years. They really just fit my foot and feel great. The quantum 1’s felt like slippers, and these feel more like shoes.
I played in them for 4 sessions so far. The sessions were filled with a good bit of happiness and only a little bit of weirdness. First off, the shoes are totally easy to get used to right off the bat. They play great right out of the box which is awesome. Here is a little bit of a breakdown on their playability surface wise.
Inside: The inside is the best inside on any freestyle shoe I have played in. It is so good. It is like a laver with a little bit of curve. It is better that the unit because it doesn’t mess up your sets. It’s also super easy to get swirl sets off. I hit swirling whirl and swirling legover within minutes of getting the shoes. I’ve never done those tricks before. The inside has the same material as the rest of the shoe, and the material is excellent. Little grip, little give, excellent.
Toe: The toe kind of sucks, but I think if I played in the shoes more I would adapt because I was getting more used to it. The bag sits a little bit too low on the toe for me and I feel like I have to come forward to really get the set off. It’s hard to describe but the unit toe is a lot better. The walls are nice though and are a good size. The material performs well too. I just feel like there is some sort of bubble with the toe, like it domes out, which doesn’t work well for stalls.
Ok, so now is the part where you should be thinking “why is a person who wore the shoes 4 times writing a review?â€

i think the cracking problem is an inconsistency in manufacturing (imo) just because, neither mine, nor Jim's, nor my brothers quantums have done that, but that did do that to both pairs of Kyle's quantums. BUT, maybe it is the way you guys play...who know

nice writeup, nearly my thoughts. i dont like the sole either. i think thats the only part (i like the toearea) that they realy need to ork over. like more grip and maybe some cushioning stuff.
oh and i have no cracks, and i use them for a while now. maybe its also the surface you play on, i barely never play on concret...
