Footbag Freestyle SHRED 1.25.08
Finally Cale and I have made another vid. He's the one in the vans shirt. Hope you guys enjoy this as much, if not more, then the last one. I feel that Cale and I are busting pretty big in this video. The stepping stuff at the end is all first hit stuff for both of us pretty much. Again, hope you enjoy

Nice progress guys!
Cale, I thought from your previous barefoot comments that you might have awful ankle crank, but it seems like I was wrong. Looks more than sufficient. Glad to see you in shoes personally. I think your clippers look good. Watch out for 'the' tricks (e.g. Cale I saw some bubbas early on that were misses.. not a diss, just letting you know what to look for). Other than the couple thin dexes, I thought you looked good overall and on the right track - I noticed your conscious effort to do tricks on both sides.
Eoghan, good focus on catching your toes up to your freakish crank clips.
The one thing I could say is watch how your buddy Cale moves his leg during toe sets, and then watch your own. I think mimic his setting style a little bit more and you'll find it helps you out.
Keep up the good work!

I like Eoghan's style and bothsidedness, props on that. Sometimes I couldn't tell which side you were.
Ripwalk>Ripwalk looked easy for both of you, try and get more.
Your toe form looks good Cale, but I don't like how your clipper looks. That's probably just personal preference, but whateva. Good bothsided pixies, how about some smears and stuff next time.

this video was okay i dont think saying "busting huge" or whatever is the right term to use, but thats just me.
Critiques:
I think you rely on your crank almost too much, when you go to catch an osis, its more like a frigid osis, and then you follow through with that, try doing it more xbody style.
I think all the illusions in this video were 'the' clean them up.
Cale needs to learn proper form on setting from toe, the way he bends his legs looks really horrible on his knees, and ankles, and he also sets the bag to the outside of his leg when hes doing pixie sets, it would be better to learn how to set to the inside, it will make pixie sets easier.
other than that, not a bad video, you guys are progressing nicely.
just remember, drilling titless will benefit you guys a lot more than drilling big moves. Your titless doesnt look too bad now, but KEEP drilling it.

my first critique is that you spelled critique wrong
definitely keep up the tiltless drilling. pick some different tiltless moves and do long drills of them to give you guys some variety. and practice PLOs b2b as many times as possible, same for ripwalk. both those moves will give you great both-sided rhythm.
I really liked your rev swirl op toes, eoghan. cale, I liked your PLOs, the form was nice.

Alright well i had a session today and put all your guy's advice to heart.
Another thing, I just want everyone to know that Cale is the tall one wearing the vans shirt, and I am the one wearing quantums.
(EDIT) I edited what i said Cale was wearing to "shirt" because i accidentally wrote a bad word
I worked on this quite a bit, and i can see what your talking about. I'm making progress on cleaning these up.I think you rely on your crank almost too much, when you go to catch an osis, its more like a frigid osis, and then you follow through with that, try doing it more xbody style.
I did exactly that. I'm glad you were so straight forward with this advice, it's the kind thats the most beneficial. I can assure you that my illusions are much cleaner now.I think all the illusions in this video were 'the' clean them up.
This little bit of advice helped me the most i think. I didn't change how i set much, just that whenever i set anything from toe, i do a little magic hop, and it makes everything smoother and more controlled. I hit multiple pixie legovers back to back in many of my runs, which makes me happy because I've never really been one for toe sets, but I feel I'll get there soon.I think mimic his setting style a little bit more and you'll find it helps you out.
