Oh yeah, and advice on keeping the high-paying server job:

Don't live purchase-to-purchase. Because the turnover rate in the FSI is so high, I found that it's better to put off the music and art, and the purchases and teach myself to enjoy being their best fucking employee ever first. It's too easy to get caught up in buying tablas to sample, off of ebay at 3am after a successful late night shift, and wake up where you were yesterday with not enough time to iron your shirt.

Good luck with that job though. I bought a lot of gear once I learned enough to sell wine.

EDIT: I'm very sorry about the page grab.

So I just made my first music video. It's...worth watching.

Sweet. So, as you can tell by the video. I quit smoking. Forever. Fuck it. I've done it so much I don't need to do it anymore. Fucking over a thousand times!! And I've been so many places and seen so many things. And I might live 10 more years and learn so much more. I should be at my top capability and try and make an impact on earth. Enough talk. I'm glad I made this video so if I ever want to smoke I can just watch this.

I love music videos. I cant wait to make more.

I just watched your video and I was really impressed. Immediately I felt the lack of digital effects and fore-sight with placement of the signs greatly reinforced your message of appreciating reality, but then I was just impressed by the harmonization, guitar work and vox. I think you made a very good decision and the effort you have put into thinking about your message manifests in your song. It is not so much about being legitimized as much as it really has a unique depth due to relevant content.

I will listen to more of your music after work.

Regarding the gear, keeping it simple is also the best idea.

Chillen. Time for bed. I went to a Scremo concert. Two of the bands were amazing!! But then the girl I like made me jealous UGH! But, I'll survive. Just wacky. I did come home and organize 6.9gbs of mp3s though. Ready to start some mashups tomorrow. That's it. Chillen.

Sober.

edit: just noticed your going to break 4500 posts soon, props =P
Your next task: Go to the bathroom.
Wash your face.
Put your shoulders hunched upwards.
Look really, really slowly upwards towards the mirror like in the movies
And slap yourself in the face.
With your game face on.
And go shred with jim.
It'll work, trust me.

Life is !

I did my first day of training at 13 coins fine dining today! Finally! It was tight. Its totally casual fine dining. Moreso than cheesecake factory which is apparently fine casual dining. It has a crazy open kitchen and is intense.

I have a casual girlfriend now. She is really cool, and we have this nice relationship where we like to be around each other but are takin it slow. The best part is cuddling. Shes sorta fucking crazy lol. Prety much like me. I really like her a lot!

Could be a heartbreak waiting to happen. Could be what I've always dreamed of. Or, something in between lol.

Aight, to juice and to workout and to bed.

Laterz!!

PS Training till friday then im a SERVER YET AGAIN!

I listened to the mashups and they are really cool! I did not know a lot of the songs but they sound cool none-the-less. One of them was a Beatles song with something else, then Thriller with something else? Was everything on your myspace page mashups? My fave song was (Throw the) Plans (Out the Window). Is that a mashup? I can't wait to check out more of your work.

Cool music video! A really interesting concept. And congrads :)
