Good Shred Laces

What shoe laces do people recomend for their shred shoes?

I still use the classic slippery rod laver laces and Im looking for an alternative at the moment.

My favorite are the ones on the Quantum 02's. Though i did start freestyle in that shoe, so it just might be what I'm used to.

my quantum laces shredded apart the day i got them, i just ripped off some old boot laces and then cut them to fit.

Any will work as long as they aren't too short or too long.

Tube-y laces: I find they come undone too easily, no matter how tight you tie them. No.

Rod Laver flat thin laces: Ok, they really seem to grip and pull, but it seems almost too small and constricting. Waxy feel.

Gunit Laces: But wider than the lavers, which I like for the previously mentioned constriction. They stay in the same knot and do not budge. They feel more, fabric-y.

super duper wide but thin laces: Best. I got some laces that are thin, but maybe 7/8ths of an inch wide, and I love the way they pull toe walls and grip your foot. NOT this kind, http://www.funkyshop.com/laces/laceshoe.jpg but rather the fabric like feel of the Gunit, just bigger. When lacing, it feels rather like butter instead of a shoe lace, so, be warned. Not slippery.

I second the quantum laces. It's not the lace's fault that they got tore up, it's the shoe.

Any laces like the Quantums laces. Especially the white ones, since they seem to be a little stronger than the greyish blue versions. Something strong, stretches slightly but not too much, and fabric-y like the G-unit laces (as Jay mentioned) is great. I never had laces go undone or loosen like them.

Rod Laver laces suck balls.

Wide laces are a bit of a distraction, and it can be kind of hard to do some unique laces on shoes because sometimes the aglets just don't fit (or are too big to fit) into the eyelets.

rod laver laces were almost impossible to untie if you ever tied them tight. (i mean unintentional knotting, not the loop kind of knots you make when tieing a shoe, but the knots taht happen when you tie them improperly or untie the improperly)

and it wasn't the quantum laces that caused them to shred, the eyeholes for the laces were sharp on the inside, and cut them up the second i tried to remove the laces to do a lace mod.

The squishy laces. I don't know the specific name for them. They aren't round laces, but they aren't flat. They are squishy like a round lace with a stiff seam on both sides. They do the job and stay tied without the double knot. I get them in those accessory stores for little preteen girls.

Like the ones on the left.

What I like are the flat cheapy ones at walmart. Just I usually buy smaller than you would normal have; that way once you lace them you don't have huge loops when they are tied up.

I also have about six different extra pairs of the squishy flat Peng showed. (I have about four pairs of Nike SB shoes.
