Well the 4th Hungarian Footbag Camp is over...
Whew it was a great fun and we had some good shred as well, though most is not on tape thx to the cameraman who forgot to recharge the battery... :roll:

Anyways i managed to hit a couple of new beasts...

Maelstrom> Spender> Locomotion
Surreal> Spender> Foodprocessor
and one more i cant remember.
had some really long and nice runs (with Flurry BSOS for ex.), which wasnt caught on tape of course

also hit this drill 2 weeks ago: Ripwalk> Blur> Smoke rpt.

oh and after seeing my style on tape, i still think its ugly... :oops: :x

Huh, I thought your style at 08 Worlds was very smooth and light on your feet. Maybe put out some video so we can judge for ourselves?

We did a demo today, at It's Rite Freestyle battle and i think we did pretty good considering it was like 40 degrees of celsius the whole day, so it wasnt easy yet we did the whole thing (around 12 minutes) with rather few drops so im proud of us!!!

Thats it for now...

We had a fun session tonight, i finally hit: Blurry Whirl > Stepping Whirl rpt.

Which shouldn't be a big deal since i lately realized, that i first started kicking roughly 10 (!!!!) years ago 8O

i also hit Maelstrom Rake, and footed some tricks like Gyro Diving Whirl BSOS....

Huh it's been a while...

Anyways yesterday I hit Gyro Barroque for the first time and it was clean too, so YAY!!! :D

Also hit Flipside Marius, and Bedwetter> Frank N. Stein (fun link)

Thanks Ken!

Today we had a nice outdoor session, and it went really well.

I hit Spinning Swirl, and Spinning Butterfly Swirl both bsos in the same run, also a new drill: Tomahawk> Blur> Parkwalk rpt.

Also a few combos like Janiwalker> Pdx Whirling Swirl and Foodprocessor> Maelstrom and Foodprocessor> Mobius.

So yeah a nice first outside session in Budapest! :D

First outdoor sessions are the best. It's always my best shred.
It's always fun to read your highlights.
You know, we kind of met at Worlds 2008 in Prague. We spoke about something (someone playing while he was shredding?) but never formally introduced ourselves. I don't think I saw you shred in person then though. I'd love to see more videos. I'm particularly picturing the spinning swirl and butterfly swirl BSOS. Great stuff.

Erik, yeah I remember you from Prague, but yes unfortunately we didn't get to introduce ourselves, nor did we kick together, but I hope we can remedy that someday! :)

Anyways we played again today, nothing too fancy, just some minor drills like Mobius> Whirl rpt. and Pdx Torque> Whirl rpt. stuff like that... but it was a good session nevertheless. I think it is the best when only two maybe three players meet for a session, because there is no resting, and the game is continous, also you can practice doing longer runs instead of just drills or singles... Also its pretty cool to see when the other player(s) is/are busting it so they keep you inspired...

We played on Sunday outside, which was a remarkable session, because a long-time player (like myself) Tompi, returned to footbag after his parachuting accident, that happened in september.

Anyways I played well, and have a few highlights...
Here they are:

Flurricane to a long run
Marius both sides
Flurry Bsos
Whirring Swirl, twice (not in a row)
Fog, Bedwetter Bsos in the same run, felt real easy too
Pdx Whirling Swirl Bsos again
Couple a Janiwalkers
Flip Mind Bender

so that was it, for Sunday

We also played yesterday, and had a nice session again, which we finished with our usual game that's like this: You must do unique tripless combos, starting with 1 trick, and in each round adding one more, and the player must start his run with the other players last trick... its fun and infuriating at the same time... :D

my last combo of it, was this drill: Pixie Whirl> Dyno> Gyro Butterfly> Pdx DLO

anyways thats all for now i think
