I haven't been able to film because the screen on my laptop broke , and the main button is acting up but I figured out a way to still use it if it allows. I was pretty discouraged because of my foot that still doesn't
Feel completely better ..but I have been dexing around two different heights of cones and doing alot it datws .

@ John .....thanks man....they still need alot of work but are strting to feel better . The shoes were the same gunits I played in at east coasts except that I ripped the thicker part around the toe off so that I wouldn't be boxed in so much....second video was of course qs and I like them alot better than the rest but gonna have to figure out how to get some

@ nick ....thanks for th props...y were the inspiration for the alpine matador.
Gla you liked the ripstein link....took me about ten tries....

I feel like I got beat by a ufc fighter....I went from not playing for two months to two days if tripless suffle ....by while body hurts and I am starting to get sick.....I just drove into new Orleans but will be going back to Mississippi to play a gig tonight...must buy Tylenol day and nigh time

I have decided to write an essay exploring the correlations between music and footbag...i will do my drafting here.....please understand that my brainstorming is many times completely absurd and random....then I finish with an hopefully understandable essay.

I have wanted to do this for quite some time and lately have felt the first musical drive and inspiration to hear, play, and "practice" in many years....

My footbag has benefited from my musical discipline and my music I feel has benefited even more from my footbag.....

Brainstorming has begun...(topics to address)

practice disciplines-subtopics.....
a. practice time
b. what repetition
c. drills
d. technical aspects versus stylist aspects.
e. flow in practice versus working on weaknesses
f. using one line to work through changes or a specific tune / taking a specific "trick" and testing it by linking it to other tricks....but still having the focus be that trick and its new link..
g. practice resulting in instinctive reactions in both music and footbag
h. standardizing all aspects of both music and footbag to be able to easily recall a specific skill in less than a second

improvisational connections and an explanation directed at footbaggers who are musicians or those who want to become musicians-
flow- addressing what vasek spoke of in his manual and its connection to music
inspiration in both-
transcribing solos and copying routines/combos-
innovations-
limitations-
drilling versus playing-
routines and connections to music and new ways of thinking-
connections of staying in the zone and benefits of playing everyday-
maintenance of skills-
warming up-for practice or for gig, or competitions......
using themes and variations in solos and runs....

MUCH MORE TO COME....

ps.....

in my kitchen I hit a couple tricks without warmup
....gyro blender bs.....flip is now strong side...
....p blender bs....
....gyro dyno bs

ive played more saxophone this week than I have in years

Have you hit 10 fearless before?
Have you hit swirling spinning osis b2b?
What's your tripless record?
How about Vegas Jam in early March?

Fearless record is nine
I haven't hit swirling spinning osis b2b yet but I think after a session or two ill get it .I'll work on this next session ...I'm gonna have to hit this and dial it in because I really want to hit swirling möbius b2b one day .
Tripless unique record is 20 and I haven't tried since ...but pretty sure I can easily beat this now .
I would love to go to Vegas but its not looking possible at the moment .

Dude...

I've been really busy with school recently, so I haven't gotten a chance to check out your new videos until now. I should be studying Ornitholgy now, but I wanted to check up on your new stuff you've been telling me about... Food> Ripstein could be a new de-constipation pill. It made me shit all of my shit out. Now I have no more shit to shit. As for your newest video above... DAMN. You're getting so good man. Your video inspired me to try some new stuff in my runs today. SO gnasty. Great stuff man. Please keep it coming.

Thanks nick .....

I'm glad ur legs are doing better... Also, I understand about being busy, f
Goodluck with school. Tomorow I will session for the first time thi week so maybe I'll get something worth filming .

Glad food to ripstein made all of your shit go away. That's probably one of the coolest links I have ever hit ....I with try to keep that in my game...

Anyway ...I've had four gigs in about three days and super tired...I'm goin to sleep and then wake up and step out of some ripsteins.

Props on swirling mobius both sides! That would definitely be insane b2b. If you see me on Facebook, and you'd like some feedback on your downtime whirls, hit me up in chat.

Have you hit phasing mobius? Or phasing gyro anything? I bet you could.

Also, fairy mobius=phobia. One of my favorite nicknames in footbag.

Keep up the good work, keep posting vids!

Thanks Ken ...it is always encouraging to see that ur watching the videos . I have footed phasing möbius but no seal ...I'll try it again soon ...

I've hit
Phasing spinning butterfly
Phasing gyro butterfly
Phasin gyro mirage
Phasing gyro illusion
Phasing spinning p mirage (hardest one)
Phasing gyro whirl
Last session I tried phasing gyro reverse swirling toe but no luck

I need lots of help in whirls so yes I definitely want the input ...I basically started using food because its almost impossible to hit food The, but I can hit alot of variations of fearless whirls easily but have the cleanliness issue that needs resolving ...

I will start working towards möbius > swirling möbius on both sides to help with the b2b link .....I have dreamed about this link !

I did try swirling spinning osis b2b but it's gonna need some work
