Drilled lots of toe strings today. I hit ss illusion; I've had trouble with this before, but today, for some reason, I hit it.

Worked on clipper stuff too. I really need to drill clipper>op clipper>repeat. I think that'll help out with my style.

lately, I've been sluggish in footbaggin'. Homework is a killer. But I'm gonna try and organize my time for shred and keep up with my grades. Shouldn't be too hard.

Had an awesome session with Rob.

Hit a lot of good clipper strings and toe runs. Hit bubba BSOS really fluidly. My game seems to be getting better. I really need to skool pdx. mirage.

Peace

Schooling paradox mirages might be the best thing I've ever done for my titless game, aside from drilling my clippers.

keep it going

really been trying to skool my clipper game...like controll on where to set it. Skooling clipper op clipper. This is tough for my flipside and sometimes my strong. Been doing various clipper drills like:

-consecutive clippers
-clipper>op toe>ss clipper>repeat
-clippper>op toe>op clipper
-etc.

been really skoolin' pdx. mirage my but clipper set for it just feels sloppy, hopefully, if I keep drilling them, the set will be awesome.

note: I can do clippers and I use them all the time in my strings (i.e. clipper ss mirage, clipper ss legover, clipper ss pick up, etc.), just setting to the other side is kinda rough.

also drilled pixie sets.

that's about all, feel free to comment with some advice, suggestions, comments, whatever :D

Hi Jordan, since you can hit thoses tricks try:
ss Clipper > ss Legover > ss clipper > ss Pickup > ss clipper > ss mirage rpt.
This drill helps you to improve your set to a ss clipper. And go for Butterfly > PDX Mirage rpt. until you can do 10 contacts :)

had a pretty good session today

lots of drilling and skooling. Warmed up with the usuall routine, but I took an extra chunk of time to stretch and I found, this REALLY does help out. My legs felt more loose and controlled. Especially my knees and ankles. Definitely going to start stretching thoroughly.

Today I:
-drilled toe strings (just to keep my cordination up)
-really focussed on strengthening clippers
-did various clipper drills
-drilled clipper strings

Tomorrow's footbag club AND my Speech (the instructional demonstration on footbag, I'll be presenting my video :D )

PEACE OUT 8)

Had club meeting today.

It was really productive. Sold a few Mr. Sandbags, talked and found out that many of our younger members are really interested in freestyle and want to get better.

Beat Rob in FORCE! HA! REVENGE   :P 8) Hahaha, but the kid is good.

Just a really good footbag meeting, I gave my screen name and cell to those kids who wanted to come to weeekend sessions so hopefully we'll get some more sick future-shredders 8)

edit: I forgot to mention, I hit a new trick, knee bump legover (toe>ss knee bump> op out>same toe)

footbagged earlier with Dan then we went over to Rob's house to kick with him n' his brother.

Today I came SO close to pdx. mirage. I figured out that I was setting too low. I also hit ss osis and figured out how to do xbd rakes easier (before I would plant and than do the rake, but I discovered that if you don't plant after the toe set, it's a whole lot easier).

Also did many clipper-strengthening drills n' such. I found out some easier ways for the toe set to clipper:

-set straight yet to your opposite side
-keep the set close; not far so you're foot doesn't have to
stretch out for it
-should fall where your thigh is.

that's all for today

just had a really good solo session.

drilled:
-clipper-strengthening drills
-pdx. mirage (stalled and then it fell off! )
-bubbas (hit 'em bothsides in like 3 tries)
-butterflies (figured out how to hit them easier)

and I've added a new atw drill
-old: atw in> op atw in>op atw out>op atw out
-NEW: atw in> same atw out> pixie > op atw in> same atw> out> pixie

that's the latest

First of all I wanna say HAPPY THANKSGIVING

I'll be in Ohio from Thursday to Sunday morning (coming home on sunday evening). I brought my shred gear but I dunno if I'll have time, I'll be visiting with the cousins and my Aunt with my Grandparents.

But, once all the turkey is eaten, and all the pie is gone, I'm gonna shred hard for the winter!

so Peace out till after Thanksgiving break!

Today I had a session with Will and Collin (younger members of my club):

I basically just practiced basics, ya know gettin' back into it.
Here's how the session went:
-clipper-stengthening drills
-clipper ss pickup b2b x 8
-clipper ss legover b2b x 7
-messed around w/ butterflies
-messed around with pdx. mirage
-hit bubba bsos (surprisingly, since I haven't played for
a week)

I'll definitely been skoolin' and drillin' more now that break's over. Club's this wednesday too!

that's the latest

SVFC Meeting:

About 19 people should up! It was incredible! The club is growing so much, each member seemed very interested also.

Rob challanged me to force again. Two times actually, I beat him both, but I gotta give him a lot of credit, he was havin' a bad day.

today I:
-hit flipside farlegover>ss clipper>op farlegover
-skooled toe-runs (get my toe-game back up to it's game)
-a bit of Pdx. mirage
-clipper-stengthening drills

And funny thing today was, I handed out the Freedomfootbag packets, the little instructional flip book thing, and Rob was with some of the new female members, and he's like yeah, "Mullet is impossible". So I said, "here let me see a bag" and he was like, "No way dude, it's impossible, I'll give you 100$ if you hit it". Well I didn't hit it, but I came CLOSE. I managed to pull of the duck and the dex but the catch wasn't there!!!! I came CLOSE to mullet! 8O

anyways I had an awesome meeting!

Today I kicked in my garage for about 40 minutes...and man, even though it was just 40 minutes, every minute was good.

One of those sessions where you feel like you really did something.

I wore my Laver Milleniums which actually work quite well. I like this shoe :D It'd probably be my 2nd shoe of choice. 1st is just regular Lavers.

Today I did...
-clipper-strengthening drills (really hardcore)
-bubbas
-butterflies
-worked on my toe-game (sharpening my skills)
-worked a small bit on pixie set
-and ducking my clippers (which I did on my strongside, and came CLOSE on my flipside)

Ahhh it really felt good! Anyways I'm out

Let's see...where did I leave off...

Friday:
had a session for 'bout 30 minutes (before I left to get coffee with some friends).
-Clipper-strengthening drills
-clipper>op clipper (drilled these A LOT)

Saturday:
was at my Grandparents kickin' it in their court yard. Since I only had pants I only practiced clipper stuff. Also messed 'round with Osis

that's the latest...
