smoking to open up the brain for more further thinking is perfectly alright and they will make it in life. I know people who are strait a students and smoke everyday. Its just the way you let the drug have effect on you.
No offense buddy but when i was 15 i would have said the same thing, But now that im in the real world i can tell you that i once thought it opened my mind now i believe it melted my mind

My heavy marijuana abuse at a young age has been devistating on my everyday capability of simple tasks.

Marijuana is only safe for adults, tests have proven that as a mind is developing heavy marjuana abuse will terribly stunt the growth of your short term memory and can also lead to problems with depression and anxiety attacks at an older age.

So have fun "Opening up your mind" call it whatever you want but you and ethan should start a different thread away from people who charish there IQ and future. Im not saying its a gurnatee that everyone who smokes pot will become an idiot and have no future but the people who want to quit most likely fall into that category so stop feeding them your bullshit pot propoganda cause its the last thing they wanna hear.

This is not a post to be defending pot. I myself will defend pot in some aspects (you may be surprised to here) but i understand how hard it is to quit and understand that this is not the place.

Footjoe do some research and stop believing in what you think when your high. i hate it when people rub age in another ones face but seriously im gonna be that person cause um yeah your kind of 15 years old and thats a terrible point to try and make to someone who has been what i have been through.

I have 2 freinds who are straight A students who skiped 8th grade, They are complete pot addicts and work in a sandwitch shop. GRADES DONT MEAN SHIT IN THE REAL WORLD. I got rub the age factor in some more cause seriously dude you got alot to learn.

Im done with this argument take this pro pot talk to a different thread this really isnt fair to the people who are genuinely interested in quiting to be reading your moronic imature opinions. they are your opinions you are entitled to them and you have made them and now its time to start talking about people who have recently quit drugs

Its funny to read my post and see how fucking stupid iam,

Its funny cause i have a degree in mechanical engineering and am currently the lead designer for a civi engineering company and i cant even understand basic gramar and if you look for all the sentances that dont make sense because of how many words i forgot to type you may get a good idea on what happens to a 15 year old kids brain that "opens up his mind one to many times"

Its actaully embarassing for my college to have handed me a degree.

Im gonna get back to topic hear i got a little angry/passionate there

A tip for all you who want to quit

Find a new hobby or set a new goal

Will power is key but can be to difficult achieve a clean lifestyle on its own the more focused you stay on something positive the easier and faster you will grow beyond your attachment to a drug.

Avoid relationships with all people who use, dont burn bridges or blow off your freinds just be smart and avoid situations for a long while. If you explain to them your choice they should have no problem to respect your wishes, if not i wouldnt consider them good freinds.

If you have troubles falling asleep go for a jog that used to work for me when i was recovering cause pot helped me sleep so much that it was almost impossible to get a full nights rest without it but going for a jog would just kind of clear my mind and then i would crash.

Last resort for a sleeping aid would be to take a little nyqiul, last resort is smart with this cause you dont want to replace one addiction with another but fucking shit a good nights sleep is so important sometimes.

good luck to all you quiters everything will start to change and it will be for the better trust me. A clean drug free lifestyle is truly a happy one. IF anybody is strugling with quiting send me a message on A1M:tuomoruutufan I have a great life turn around story i would love to share if your looking for inspiration/reference to your own situation.

about the falling asleep, its weird cuz sometimes i just fall asleep right wen i hit my bed after smoking, other times i have the hardest times sleeping after smoking..one thing u can do is go take a jog like u said or... drink some tea! or even do some relaxed shredding..take a hot shower,,wow u will feel alot better..think about how much money u are saving now that ur quiting drugs..wow u can set a goal of money u want to save by not spending it on drugs..then go buy something..like a reward system ya no..every 2 weeks buy somthing u can benefit from instead of buying drugs

Actually interesting point about caffine - I heard a science thing on the radio a while ago about this and to put it very basically people have a "sleep switch" and different things can stimulate that "sleep switch" - and the more you stimulate it the more it will work - caffine is one of the things that in some people can make them go to sleep. Hence it's well documented that some people have a tea or coffee before bed and it helps them go to sleep. If they continue to do this it can make them feel tired/sleepy when ever they drink caffine. Off topic I know but I found it interesting. Also eating too much chilli makes you high (that was mentioned in the same show).

Interesting you said that about chilli cause i ate chilly today and didnt feel the same for the rest of the night i evnen kind of had a headahe too.

I think the idea about caffiene is even though it will you give a high peak of energy that alot of people will have a complete drop off of energy after the caffeine has run its course.

Speaking of caffiene I think im addicted to sugar free redbull

No I'm pretty sure for some people the caffine works at making you sleepy straight away - I was listening to the radio when this happened - I remembered it because it was interesting.

I'm definitely addicted to red bull :(

I was shredding @ the park and these red bull reps came by and gave us all free red bull. It tastes like shit but I think it made me play a little better than usual for 10 or 15 minutes. I should look into some taurine supplements..

Careful with overusing energy ddrinks.

I had a Flash every session for 10 days and had major stiffness.

You may lose flexibility and gain more muscle.

Just be careful.
