Why spend so much time and money to make a great footbag dvd, and then produce it on dvd's that only work on a couple DVD players ? I guess I'm just a bit pissed cause I can't watch it on TV through the DVD i preordered way back when. I could understand that if I had a foreign dvd player that it might not play the NTSC format correctly, but that isn't the case. I've tried numerous systems, and none of them worked..., if I were aware that you made them uncompatible with normal dvd players, I wouldn't have bothered buying it because you put it all on the internet. That , and I don't ever remember you saying it'd only work on a couple DVD players and no ps2's. So with that in mind, are you going to be changing the format you're putting it on ?
My apologies if you've taken offense, but I feel like I just bought a 32 without filler or something close to that analogy.

Hey sam, freak out. More CAPS PLEASE.
I'm not asking for my money back or anything, just a general complaint I can't watch what I bought (pre-order to support what you were doing). Thought maybe you'd care or take it into consideration to get someone to help you with the DVD part, I don't know anything about those things either, so I can't help.

A touchy issue such as this should have been handled through emails or pm's. It's the real world equivalent of walking into someone's birthday party, sitting down for cake, and then screaming you're allergic to icecream. Back when monsterhack was around I received a bum copy of nbk. I emailed Eric and he hooked me up w/ a new dvd right away. There was no problem.

Hopefully I'm the only one allergic, and sorry if I'm somewhat screaming, just trying to state really. You may be able to quote this as screaming or one of the other lines from that gracefully put paragraphSlashC wrote:It's the real world equivalent of walking into someone's birthday party, sitting down for cake, and then screaming you're allergic to icecream.
Anyways, I've come to the analysis that it's (not 100% sure) because the video was encoded with a newer DivX. So I'm guessing some of the newer dvd players can do DivX, but a lot of the older generations won't be playing the AVI - DivX file. Sam, did you use the same exact file you put for downloads as the DVD file (the FR.AVI (divx)) ? Could be the problem, but I'm not much of a technician, hell, that previous info wasn't really even from meIM NOT A FUCKING TECHNICIAN AND IM NOT A FUCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
Maybe we can figure this out without biting my head and legs off with some patience and somebody that knows what the hell they're talkin about. Kamil !! Release your Best Buy knowledge !!

Ugh. Sam, you explode way too easy. John was one of those *supporting* your efforts in the beginning. I can't possibly understand why you would choose him as one of those to get angry at.
