I recommend you to ask many other shredders in your town whether they want a pair of quantums too. Try to order more than one pair in one order.. they shoes are not that heavy so it won't cost more.
you could share the shipping. just an idea.

the shop is now OPEN!

http://www.planetfootbag.ch/shop/index.php

some final texts need modification but until then i'll give you the downlow here:

we charge 50€ shipping as an advance payment. after we have actually shipped the order we will return you the excess amount to your paypal account. so you pay only the actual shipping costs. we don't charge any handling fees.

please note in the comments section of your order if you want your shoes shipped by economy mail (slow, uninsured) or priority mail (insured, faster). the default will be priority mail.

if you want to estimate shipping costs, i posted some links further up.

i'm going on holiday for 2 weeks. when i'm back i'll take time to write up a summary of what the idea behind the quantums is, will be ready to answer all questions and will sum up the philosophy of planetfootbag for you.

the Swiss Post website is so confusing. I cannot deduce how much shipping will be nor transit times.
*Items up to 2 kg can also be sent as ECONOMY letters as long as the combined length, width and height do not exceed 90 cm and none of the edges is more than 60 cm thick.
Can the package be qualified as a "letter", or is it too big? If the package is instead shipped as "PostPac International ECONOMY", then from what I can tell it will cost US$31 to ship 1 pair of shoes to North America. I hope I'm wrong.

It says all of US and Canada is zone 3. That would mean there is a set price and delivery standard (# of days) for shipping here. I think it's not too much to ask for an estimate, if not an exact figures, for shipping 1 pair of Quantums to US/Canada. How about two or more pairs?

If no one at planetfootbag can say, then someone who has ordered (or will order), please share the info, when you know.

Thanks

Edit Note: "PostPac International ECONOMY are automaticaly insured up to CHF 1000." Good to know.

I'm also curious if we will be charged customs duties upon delivery. Buyers, please report your experience.

60 Euros is a very good price for the Quantums, but if that ends up doubling just to get them here, then most people will be deterred to say the least.

I understand they charge 50€, but I'm interested in the actual cost, because they re-imburse the difference.

wait soooo....
if u pay 60euros(shoes)+50euros shipping how much money would u get back into your paypal account if u live in the U.S.A.( they send back the excess money because they need to calculate the shipping, right?)

If any one from the states buys a pair of these shoes please tell us the total cost with priority mail, economy, or whatever.
This will help everyone from the states alot.

Thank you

oh sorry, but in the "US Open Quantum order" topic; Wolfpac444 said:
wolfpac444 wrote:I asked Flavio, and he said he thought shipping would end up being about $5.00 for economy and $7.50 priority if we made an order of 10 shoes. That would make the total cost of the shoe about $81 - $85.
But; yet thats for 10 shoes...yeah sorry i'm not much help...

He said that an order of 10 shoes would be 6.5kg which would mean one pair is around .65kg. That means that if you don't mind waiting a bit, you can have it shipped as a "maxi economy letter" for about $15.

please, do not forget the custom duty. I have no idea whether they might charge it or not. (maybe it's already included)

I guess it costs around 30 E for shipping (effectiv).

We'll see. Just buy a pair of shoes and be happy :D

That's a good idea, non-serious footbag/circle kicking players could see a footbag shoe and buy it :D

Question: Can I order quantums with my credit card or is it COMPULSARY to use paypal to pay for the shoes? The hassle of setting up a paypal account, putting money on it, paying, then taking the shipping refunds back off sounds REALLY annoying.

my feet are probly too big for quantums, (tight 12 lavers), is there a plan to distribute larger sizes than their available in right now? or does it depend on current sales..or what, is there an estimated time when things with this might expand, either larger (or smaller) sizes, or new/revised models of the shoe?

i just want some to wear and support the effort, but i think its impossible for me right know.....and i dont want this anxious monkey on my back, so if someone in the know can just tell me to chill till so and so date or whatever, many peoples peace of mind will be your reward.
Plain, with everything.

It takes like 3 days, at the least, to transfer money into a PayPal account.

And the fact that the credit card isn't mine, it's my parents or my friends, they have to trust me much more associating their card with my paypal account than them making a one off payment.
